Anyone else wish to do anything before the rising sun and planned trip back to Phandalin?
Clarification(s): [I saw I missed Robwin's questions.]
TT and Robwin were part of a sm. company contracted to trade supplies with Adabra Gwynn and deliver them to Phandalin mining company. Whether conscripted or freely contracted, the delivery will satisfy their requirements. That information is in your individual writs.
If Eli and Blaire share details of their quests so far, on the walk back to Phandalin, Robwin will enquire about all the magics of Gnomengarde: “Gnomengarde? I’ve been there once. It was a diplomatic assignment, years ago. But I was held in the mushroom cavern outside. Never went in... I always wondered what magics they kept inside!”.
And if Blaire seems particularly interested in magic, he’ll ask about her experience with magic, and if she knows about where they might find anything magical to help them against the dragon.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
TT thanks Ms. Gwynn for all her hospitality and care before leaving. During the travel back she will notice Eli's amulet (religion check :15 to see if she recognizes the symbology) and ask "So when did you first hear your calling?"
She will also be keeping a nervous eye out for flying creatures during the trip perception: 20
Ikki, still weary from his encounter with the "shapeshifter", is glad to finally sleep. Before succumbing, he listens to the various conversations around him intently, though it might appear he is oblivious.
The emblem, a staring eye on an upright left hand gauntlet, on Eli's shield is clearly that of a "Paladin of Helm". Helm's hold, a small city a day's journey from Neverwinter, about twenty miles, is still a bastion to "the Vigilant One" and many from the order still serve honorably in Neverwinter.
You also note, the holy symbol, a cloud with three lightning bolts, hanging from Blaire's black leather choker and upon her shield is of Valkur, "the Captain of the Waves". Beyond him being a common patron of the Northlanders and seafaring folk, you haven't much experience with his followers or his religion.
Eli explains to TT, "I grew up in Helm's hold proper. My family was large and devoted. I only recently completed my service as a squire to Tythrun, Paladin of Helm, in Neverwinter. My mum and da knew him well before I was born."
Blaire with Robwin, "They have a lot of mechanical contraptions in there. Some of them would be wonderful back on the ship." After a pause she continues, "There is a wild magic throughout the area. I was turned blue as a glaucus for a while...", she starts cracking a smile, "I didn't find it funny at the time. ... We picked up a few things. One we're delivering to the Townmaster." "Hey! Rinn! Show Robwin that contraption amulet you got." "Anyway, I heard Rinn and the Inn keeper; Seara or Stone?", she shrugs, "say something about some lighthouse and shipwrecks and I heard a few folk talking about some magic cave maybe? I was well into my cups. Maybe that Sara would be able to fill in the details?", she shrugged again.
Robwin is completely enchanted by Blaire, and her talk of Gnomengarde. ”Mechanical contraptions?.. Wild magic?!.. My goodness, I could probably spend a decade there studying, and still have more to learn!”.
“But did you say you bought a contraption away with you? Oh my, could I see it? I’ve studied a number of magical items back at the College. Maybe I could tell you what it is or how it works?”.
Robwin really does look like an excited school boy now (in spite of his years). It’s clear that anything even remotely magical would pique his interest!
Then at the mention of a magical cave “Hmm.. I must remember to ask around about this location. It may hold useful secrets!”.
Rinn pulls out the [Tooltip Not Found] and shows it to Robwin. "We got some other stuff too, like this hat," he holds up the [Tooltip Not Found], "But I think it's only for people that can use magic, like wizards."

((OOC: @DM Having studied his entire life, and seeing these items, what would Robwin know about any of them? Would he recognise them for what they are? Does Sage background help? Thanks))
((OOC: @DM Having studied his entire life, and seeing these items, what would Robwin know about any of them? Would he recognise them for what they are? Does Sage background help? Thanks))
Absolutely. While these are magic items they are common knowledge items in mage circles.
Meta:
Also, your new friends were gifted these items and informed of their use. Eli would freely offer up that information.
Ikki is fully able to utilize and demonstrate the pole if he wants.
Rinn is keenly aware of the items to a greater extent than the others, but what he shares is up to him.
As Blaire, Rinn and the others produce various magical items Robwin recognises each one in turn, from his years of academic study...
“Oh, haha!.. I haven’t seen a clockwork amulet for a while!... and oh what’s that? Ahh... a pole of collapsing? Wonderful! Just wonderful!... ... hmmm... yes these items could be of some use to anyone really, I believe!”.
As the hat of wizardry is revealed, his smile fades... “Where did you find this??... you’re right, only a wizard might use this. My goodness... one of my professors had one of these. A hat like this is every apprentice wizard’s dream.... Such knowledge is held within!! Every. Basic. Spell.... Whose is this hat? Where is it headed?... might I try it on?”. He looks hopeful but timidly towards the hat...
Blaire smirks watching Robwin being so enthusiastic about the hat and tosses it to him.
"It's worth fifty gold, if that, to the Townmaster. If you can make use of it and are willing to look into that shipwreck or cave or whatever... just #$%÷ show me you @#$% make use of the $%^& thing!", it seems Blaire managed to irritate herself.
Robwin: Pick a cantip you doesn't know and make an arcana check

As Blaire tosses the hat to Robwin he blurts out, “Wait! No!.. It doesn’t quite work that way...”. Too late...
Robwin tries to hurriedly shield his mind...
As he catches the hat, he gets this strange sense of vertigo: the shapes of half-a-dozen spells flash bright in his mind (mending, friends, shape water, mould earth, light...).
He closes his eyes tight and has to hold onto the cart for a second to steady himself. A dozen more spells start to cycle through his thoughts, almost like whispers, or memories... then a dozen more!.. these, creeping, like shadows... He shakes his head...
He takes a couple of deep breaths he manages to calm his mind a little against the sensation. Enough to speak...
”It takes... ugh... time, meditation, attunement...”. He opens one eye and sees Blaire’s scowling, sceptical face... So he tries something anyway...
He quiets his mind... tries to hear the voice of one spell instead of thirty... something comes...
During Robwin's struggle against the hat, Ikki's neck and shoulder feathers ruffle, and he blinks at the wizard with one red-brown eye and then the other.
After the full nights rest Wolfsong joins the group in traveling to Phandalin, hoping to gather more information on the manticore and the dragon as well as to pick up a job or two so he could get some extra supplies. Wolfsong keeps to the rear of the group, his staff in hand acting as a walking stick, while his gaze keeps mostly to the skies watching out for either of his targets, intermittently listening in on the conversations of the others.

Adabra Gwynn would refuse to leave the windmill.
Eli buys two potion of healing at 25 gp each.
Eli and Blaire would have openly shared with Robwin and the others about their tasks for the Townmaster before the nights rest or during watch.
Eli seems pretty keen on figuring out the dragon issue/hunt.
Blaire seems very interested in Robwin's line of questions about magic in this region.
Blaire seems to have an exasperated fondness for Rinn which seems unintentionally condescending.
Rinn doesn't have anything else he wishes to accomplish for the evening.
Robwin is ready for the trip back to Phandalin.
