(That is still the plan. As Barril rounded 27, he spotted the robo-chicken approaching from the north and waited for it to pass to the south. He is continuing north then east (up then right) from 27 to the narrow passage that leads directly to 3. Or am I reading the map wrong?)

As you peer into area 3, among the rubble of the statue you helped destroy and the dais it crushed, you see a creature patrolling. It's uncertain if it is a construct or a fully organic creature. Perhaps it's a bit of both.

OOC: is this some homebrew stuff or is it in the manual
<I thought i already posted this. Guess it didn't go through. I am using Monster Manual Expanded III by Dragonix; I've mentioned it several times.
Note that this creature is guarding this area because it is the chokepoint between the temple proper and the laboratory section of the temple complex, in which the entrance / exit is located.
Killing the monster is optional, the objective is to get past it. It is actively looking for theives absconding with the temple's treasure (i.e. you).>
Its actively looking for you, so if you want to trysnd stealth it, thsts a group check with at keast half passing. The observer had a passive 19, so unless 4 of the party can beat that (I'm counting Exho if shes there) its going ro see or hear you, but since its actively looking, at that point I would roll a perception check. I 'm not saying you shouldn't do this, just telling you the mechanical side of it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As he is warned by Barril and ready for the guardian Etrigan/Shaman creates a sound of movement from a distant corner of the chamber, distracting it from noticing him and the others crossing the chamber. Stealth:30 (rolled with advantage because of distraction, otherwise go with first roll.)

As you sneakily creep theough the shadows, past the Thessalgorgon, a sound is heard coming from the southwest corner of the room. The thessalgorgon rushes over t9nit, moving debris with its hoives and snout. It bellows and hisses, sohnds of gears whirring and steam releasing mix with animal utterances. Then, a shriek if a humanoid voice!
Initiative 4
Gore. 22 for 9 piercing damage.
Hooves. 18 for 16 bludgeoning damage.
{Everyone should roll initiative, but fighting is at your discretion. It hasn't seen anyone who made a stealth check.}
The construct passes the party, continuing south. (32,33)
Where do you go?
(OOC: I think the plan was 3->1->Exit but Barril will decide as he´s got point.)

"Keep moving, Thessalars creations are near invincible." Etrigan/Shaman messages the others.
Barril’s Initiative: 21
Assuming Barril is in the lead, he will turn to see if the shriek came from any of our party.

Tetrevess initiative 6
Barrill sees a fair-skinned, red haired human woman hid aming the rubble being trampled by the thessalgorgon.
Waiting on Sam and Huarache initiative.
Anyone with initiative 20 or higher, please post actions now. (including Sam and Huarache, where applicable)
(Oh no it’s my avatar!)
Etrigan/Shaman believing it is his illusion is doing the trick, sneaks through the chamber, keeping a good eye on the creature in the corner.
