Tetrevess finds a sword on the attificer's body. A small jade version of the green devil face of the Tomb of Horrors is fashioned into the hilt of the weapon, with the blade extending from its open mouth. The blade always appears ruined and rusting, and causes its surroundings to appear reflected in the blade as if in a state of decay.
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit an undead creature with it, the attack deals an extra 1d8 force damage.
Blighted Ruin
You can cast the blight spell from the weapon (DC 15). Once used, this property of the weapon can't be used until the next dawn.
Destructive Ruin
You can cast the disintegrate spell from the weapon, but can target only a nonmagical object or a creation of magical force. Once used, this property of the weapon can't be used until dawn seven days later
Its a heavy, 2 handed weapon, does 2d6 slashing damage. Requires attunement
Gravity observes everything silently, she seems to be growing anxious gradually like an initiate of a circle who's about to ascend to the highest level of ranking system. She suddenly starts to speak with an authoritative tone:
"You can leave without worrying too much about your son, Tarnhem! As the newly appointed architect of the tomb, I'll take care of him and make sure that it's transformed into a 'Tomb of Creation'."
The balor scoffs at Gravity's words. "Hah! Good luck with that." as he departs for what he has said us a means to return to the abyss. Pentival follows.
<if its not clear, Tarnhem’s son was killing the balor as he stole his power to fuel the magic of this place, focused by Phenex's ritual and through the infernal machine parts. They demon and his son aren't on the best terms.
Ana shakes her head vigorously, denying that her arrows were responsible. A little elven girl who got lost in the Feywild and fell into a natural portal couldn't do all that damage. Maybe should have restrained myself... she thinks belatedly. "No, I didn't do it. Didn't you see? The sphere touched him and he began to crumble. I just happened to shoot him in the same place!" She hoped they'd leave it at that. "Anyway let's go get those stones and get out of here."
Gravity moves near the visibly dead artificer and murmurs something to nobody in general:
"Maybe, I can preserve his brain for further research, or animate his body in order to turn him into a fallen puppet."
A small magical trinket appears in her hand which looks like a figurine of Moghaddam, it's attached to her fingers with silvery strings (Prestidigitation). A puppet. She starts pulling the body towards his office; and when she's finally inside the room, she will stand before the map of the place so that she can locate the locations of unexplored rooms.
Tetrevess says “I sure don’t know how to use it!” And hands it to Sam. “I’d like to see the office to see what information is there, and perhaps other things of value.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
sam responds "thank you that is also a very good plan, hold for two mins real quick" sam walks to the dragonborn "look I know we don't have the best of interests but people like him" points too the dead man "might have his weapons cursed in a way were he and only him can use the weapons is there away to check that"

< Are you sure you want to do that? That's probably going to get a reaction from the dwarves camped out there.>
“The office is a good idea” says tetrevess. He grabs the sword, and follows Gravity, the sphere following along, not too close..
“I think it might be best if I have the blade” would Sam know the blades history
history : 15
No, he would just see it has the green devil face and that it reflects things in a dilapidated condition. He would reasonably guess it belonged to Moghaddam, since he wS weilding it. The funny thing is it would have had a history if it stayed in the tomb, but you're changing g the past right now and that could get pretty interesting.
As he departs the hall, following Tarnhem, the paladin answers Sam, "Cursed? I'd wager a madman bent on creating evil things has not missed the opportunity to do so with an object so personal as his own blade. I'd tread carefully in those waters. It's like as not cursed by some of that madman's own dark magic."

"Wait,wait,Wait.. so, Moghaddam's gone? So the Balor killed him?" Rhe teifling aays, shaking their head as they try to get a handle on this information. In a whisper, she continues, "And you killed Phenex?" She walks over to the doorway to peer into the entrance hall. Seeing the place abandoned and the green devil face vacant of any balor, she calls out in a hushed but excited tone. "Hey, everyone. The coast is clear. Let's get out if here while the getting is good!" A dozen more teiflings emerge from beyon murals and stonework, alf of them from the portrait if the gold sphere. In small groups they depart by the tomb's entrance a few thank yiu quiet as they pass. Several, men and women alike are sobbing, but smiles show beneath their tears. A half-elf stands amid the chaos. A girl of perhaps 20 years. She starts at Gravity. "Thank you for helping us escape, but... where will I go?"

(Sure, why not? Let's cover his eyes with a pair of sunglasses and pretend that he's unconscious.)

Gravity will accept the scimitar offered by Sam, and express her gratitude.

Gravity had the scimitar, huh? Then she hears the raspy ruined voice when she takes the blade:
"Ahh-hah. The hands of a crafter. Do you feel it? The hunger? There it is. Let's make an omelet."
