Ink accompanies Rip and the kids to the teleportation circle. On the way, he tells the children, "OK, kids - I'm taking you two and your dad to someplace super special - but it has to stay a secret. In fact, it's a super secret. Could you do that for me? It's going to be fun and something like you've never seen before."
//Flint keeps a modest lifestyle (1gp/day) and starts his week at the forge. He'll work there until the commission is done. Flint uses his artisan's blessing as many times as is feasible to speed up the process, he otherwise rolls up his sleeves and works the forge along with the other smiths. When that's done, he'll settle the commission and spend the remainder of his time working in Moradin's temple.//
At some point during his time at the forge, flint gets an idea and creates some facial features for crownsguard. //think Mr potato head, but less comical// if crownsguard likes the initial set, Flint will create others to convey different moods.

At his lifestyle of Comfortable, Crownsguard will pay 14 gold and somehow get caught up in a gambling ring. During the week, he will bet 500 gold. This is going to go well.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Crownsguard is gonna have a gambling montage! Having gone for a walk for a while, Crownsguard found himself in the good graces of a group of dwarves in the undercity. They roped him into a game of dragon poker, and let’s see how he faired!

Crownsguard befriends several dwarven mine workers, who (as it turns out) frequent a reputable poker parlor.
At first, Crownsguard is not quite familiar with the game, but finds it strangely addictive. The dwarves assume they've got someone that isn't so bright; allowing Crownsguard to (either intentionally or unintentionally) hustle them. After days spend with these dwarves, he ends up winning back his stake plus another 250 gold pieces. The dwarves don't seem very happy about it, but they are too intimidated by Crownsguard to do anything about it.
Kara looks up at the older elf with a furrowed brow. "Can you do magic like my daddy?"
"Sort of," responds Ink. "We can both do magic, but your father is so special that the magic comes from within him. I have to study long and hard to learn how to manipulate the magic that's all around us."
Kara claps with delight, and begins to refer to Ink as "My friend Ink with the pretty owl."
Ink and Rip:
The teleporting into Yartar is an easy process. The dwarf attendant recognized Ink and Rip, and performs the sigil sequence as the children cling to each other, both in fear and in awe of the magical ritual. He instructs you all to stand near the hay-covered magic circle as he casts the spell.
When the spell is completed and you step through the portal, the interior of the Mirabaran stable fades away, and your field of vision transitions to a beautiful garden patio, enclosed by a high wall of ivy-covered stone. Statues of frolicking dryads and satyrs are situated among the flower beds and stone benches that line the large patio. Curiously, there is no teleportation circle at your feet. The fresh morning sun reflects off the dew on nearby plants.
Ink's eyes narrow. He whispers to Rip, "There should be a circle here." Ink crouches to investigate the ground, looking for the teleportation circle he expected to find.
"Rip - see any exits? Or the guard who should be here?"
Ink brushes the ground around him, which feels slightly off. The patio appears clean and flat to the eye, but feels cracked and dirty to the touch.
Rip can see that the only way out of the garden is through the dilapidated building to which the garden is connected, or to scale the 8-foot-high walls that surround the garden.
Beyond the walls, Rip can see the characteristic tall buildings of Yartar, suggesting that you are somewhere in the heart of the city.

Ink conjures a mage hand and begins playing toss the coin between his actual hands and the mage hand.
He also snaps his finger a handful of times causing Quill to poof in and out of existence in various places around them as she circles them.
Quill may be annoyed by this.
