Ink recognizes the effects of illusion magic. The image fades slightly, revealing to Ink not only the teleportation circleinscribed in the middle of the patio, but also the broken benches, weed-infested flowerbeds, and shattered statuary that surround the circle.
Once in the building Ink asks Rip and the kids to hold on a second...
He pulls the divination rod out of the bag of holding and outs his Harper's Pin into the bag of holding. He then casts locate object seeking out a Harper pin similar to his (they mostly are standard issue) within a one mile radius...
After noting the results of the divination magic, he puts the rod back in the bag and retrieves his pin.
In Yartar, as you make your way through the old run-down house, an old human comes tottering down a set of rickety stairs, waving a wand, which spouts a brilliant red light. "Hold! What's your purpose?" He stops about 20 feet short of you, and looks to Ink, then Rip, then the children. "And what's that you've got there? Speak, man!" He says to Ink, indicating the 4-foot-long adamantine rod.
// The closest pin similar to Ink's is about 20 feet in front of you. //
Crownsguard befriends several dwarven mine workers, who (as it turns out) frequent a reputable poker parlor.
At first, Crownsguard is not quite familiar with the game, but finds it strangely addictive. The dwarves assume they've got someone that isn't so bright; allowing Crownsguard to (either intentionally or unintentionally) hustle them. After days spend with these dwarves, he ends up winning back his stake plus another 250 gold pieces. The dwarves don't seem very happy about it, but they are too intimidated by Crownsguard to do anything about it.
(Complications to follow)
Crownsguard merrily returns to Flint, “Flint, I have obtained 250 extra gold. I am apparently very good at what is called ‘gambling.’ I fail to see how one can be good at chance but, as the modern cultures say, ‘meh.’” Crownsguard shrugs.

"Great! I hear folk get hooked on gamblin', an' lose their socks. Ah don't suppose such could happen ta ye, set limits fer yerself. Here, ah made ye somethin' on a breather, see if ye like it..." Flint hands crownsguard a face of polished steel with leather straps to hold it in place. The face has some Dwarven features, with a heavy brow, wide jaw, a slight grin, and a beard that extends below the collarline. "Sorry fer the short beard, ah did'na want it ta get caught on ye."
In Yartar, the rather cantankerous mage nods and stows his wand. “Never can be too careful,” he says, before allowing you to go about your business. “You can call me Kolbaz, and just be sure to announce yourself next time. Coulda burnt your ears off with a fire bolt.”
Ink and Rip, please describe how you reunite the children with their mama, and feel free to narrate your return to Mirabar as well (at your leisure)—or if you'd rather spend downtime in Yartar, that is an option as well.

North of Mirabar, Marav climbs into the mountains, well outside the guarded safety of the city.
Marav, please make three ability checks to brave the harsh elements:
Strength (Athletics)
Wisdom (Survival)
Dexterity (Stealth)

Flint, meanwhile, begins the finishing touches at Tyrek's dwarven smithy in Mirabar. It is clear that Flint’s skill rivals Tyerk's own skill, but they make a good team. Tyrek certainly has Flint earn his keep, pulling long shifts with pay. The work is arduous, and the furnace blazing hot, but on the two dwarves labor.
At the end of it, the adamantium arms and armor are complete, and Tyrek pays Flint 60 gp for his help during the week, allowing Flint to apply it as a discount against the amount owed (800 gp).
RIP asks around until he learns of his wife's whereabouts and promptly heads there with the kids. Before the big reunion Rip will make the children invisible.
"Hello there pretty lady! I heard you were missing something important." As he talks the invisi-kids will get in front of RIP "Well you will be glad to hear, your kids are right here!" With that he claps his hands and ends the spell revealing the once lost children! There is much hugging and crying and happiness!
Ink tells Kolbaz, "Noted - we'll announce ourselves... Wait. How can I do that from Mirabar? Oh, and I'll be back with the bard here either tonight or tomorrow morning ... Likely the latter."
He looks back at the illusion and says admiringly, "You need to show me how you do that."
Marav has a hard task climbing through the mountains, and it is very slow going. The rain falls in sheets one day, followed by snow and hail the second day. The rest of the tenday is alternating sun and very sudden blizzards. Marav is able to plug on thanks to his acumen as a ranger, but every day is a trial, and even tracking is difficult.
Thankfully, there is enough snow around to melt for drinking water, though food is virtually nonexistent up here.

Kolbaz smiles, revealing several gold teeth. "Yes, my hallucinatory terrain is certainly effective. Only drawback is I have to cast it every day. Gets a little boring at times, but I take my job seriously. A favor for a favor—if you're willing to perform a task for me, I would be glad to take the time and teach you the spell."
"Thank ye Tyrek fer lettin' me help ye this week an' fer bein' patient with th' adornments. Very happy with th' armor. Oh, know ye anything about this hammer?" Flint shows him the sapphire Warhammer we found in the spider cave.
// Flint's armor is polished with a glossy sheen that you could shave in, the breastplate features Moradin's flaming anvil large on the crest. The symbols of the other six members of Mordinsamman are embossed in a semicircle beneath it with Beronnar's rings opposite Clangeddin's axes at the top. The helmet has an exaggerated dome on it for an embossed smithy hammer. //

"This feels like an illusion, but I'm not sure," Ink whispers.
He gets up to join Rip looking for signs of the expected Harper posted to this teleportation circle.

Ink tentatively smiles, responding, "May the Moongleam Tower shine upon Those who Harp. My pin is in my bag."
"This," Ink gestures to the adamantine rod, "is a giant-sized divination rod. We popped over from Mirabar."
Ink will give a quick synopsis from Moongleam to now, bullet points only, and, if allowed, he'll put his pin back on.
