Marav reluctantly puts away his swords in favor of his long bow, telling the orc chief "Why have you chosen to die this day? Why here?"

"Escaping the elves...to be killed by a filthy halfblood..." the war chief swears as Marav removes his head from his shoulders.
The chief's body falls, and the necklace that he wore under his armor spilled onto the ground along with his blood. The necklace was lined with several severed, pointed ears.
The last remaining orc disengages from Rip and Solace and runs north towards Inn, but is filled with crossbow bolts and arrows. He staggers forward two more steps before collapsing. The only live orcs are now the ones swimming south, downriver.

Seeing the necklace only further enrages Ink. He sprints and jumps (Athletics 9 ) over the grease (DEX Save in case... 15 ), walks onto the bridge and starts throwing Fire Bolts at whatever orc is left trying to swim away until either they've sunk or he can't see them anymore....
Once he can no longer see the invaders, Ink returns to the village, helps heal who he can through his basic triage training, takes a short rest himself (using both hit die to recover and arcane recovery to gain one spell slot back) and helps the other guards see to it that their fallen are properly tended to. While suggesting that the orcs and other enemies be burnt in a mass Pyre.
Besides the greataxes, each orc wears a necklace with one or more elf ears strung onto it. They each had a javelin, but most of those now litter the ground around the drawbridge (and a few are stuck into the outside of the wooden palisade).
Between the goblins, orcs, and mercenaries that were killed here, there are over two dozen bodies to dispose of; not to mention the bodies of several villagers that were killed in the bombardment two days ago. However, you don't know how the surviving villagers would react to news that their loved ones had been burned in a mass pyre.
Flint spends his rest tending to Kaelen and performing last rights in a brief ceremony which involves a tankard of ale and a drinking song loud enough for her soul to hear. He then brings a tankard to Marav and says quietly: "These guards held their own today, might be ye owe one 'o them an apology. Make it a loud one so's she can hear ye."
Then louder: "Solace, Rip, we never got ta the talk o' what ta do about gettin' this town back on it's feet. Got'ny ideas?"

Solace surveys the damage for long time before speaking up. "This town is in need of stability. I think," she says, "that I will stay on and help get things under control, until the Lords Alliance can sort things out. I'm sure Lady Nandar had an heir, or at least a next of kin. But these people need leadership in the meantime.
"Not to mention that the guards have been stretched impossibly thin. They'll need one of us to stay to ensure that they can hold the fort against any more incursions. Seems like a daily occurrence here!"
"Aye lass, it's a good plan an' yer the right one fer the job I say, wouldn't'ya agree Rip? Now there's the matter o' settlin' up on the town's losses. Ye'll need coin ta rebuild an' we collected some o' the townsfolk's property from the goblins, an' there's the matter o' these gems. I can't speak fer the rest o' the group but I can speak fer meself, the fifth part o' all we found here be yers ta do with as ye will." He hands 3 of the gems to Solace and offers the other two to Rip and Seviari. (those 3 would be the gems given to Flint, Jorji and Solace)

Seviari nocks an arrow and shoots the orc war chief point-blank: Attack: 14 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. Bless: 2
The war chief warded off the arrow with the blade of his huge axe.
