 Ink closes in on the salamander, trying to get about sixty feet away from his target - the range of the elf's dark vision... His bow and arrow are already drawn and waiting.

Some of you are sneaky, but the salamander hears clanking armor and crunchy footsteps. Peering around, it sees Matrix approaching first and rushes to engage with him! Its twin swords blaze, red hot in the dark room.

Twin swords attack 1: 21 Damage: 9 plus 4 fire 
Attack 2: 13 Damage: 13 plus 2 fire 

Matrix and the Salamander get into it, providing the rest of you with ample opportunity to hit. Don's eldritch blasts hit the creature's armor, and hit looks pissed off.

In the scuffle, neither Matrix and the Salamander can seem to gain the edge over the other. Crownsguard's thrown knife clatters into the darkness somewhere.

The dwarf slaves drag their shackled feet over behind the pillars to take cover!

Ink lets loose the two arrows he had pulled from his quiver at the salamander!

Ink’s arrows stick into the armor of the salamander, seeming not to bother it much.

Flint moves forward his armor clanking no matter how hard he tries to keep silent.

He then casts spiritual weapon and a spectral hammer appears and attacks the Salamander.

The salamander tries to grab Matrix again, lashing out with its tail...

Tail Attack: 14 Damage: 13 plus 9 fire, and on a hit, you are grappled & restrained.

...and drawing Matrix to itself, it slices with its scimitars!

The dwarves, meanwhile, manage to all get behind one pillar to hide. Their chains keep them from running very far.

Matrix is wrapped up by the Salamander and after the first sword strike falls still. The second strike finds no resistance or reaction from the monk.

The salamander tightens its grip on Matrix, audibly searing his flesh and causing his garments to smoke.

Don lowers his head, "This is gonna hurt." then he disappears in a mist and reappears in front of Matrix.

He jams his last potion of greater healing into his mouth. "These things are expensive!"

He looks at the salamander, "Bring it worm!"

Crownsguard is going to dash toward the creature! That is my turn.

Don somehow tumbles inside the reach of the Salamander and deftly drops the contents of the potion right into Matrix’ open mouth!

The liquid kicks in instantaneously, and Matrix revives. 

(Ink, Flint, Matrix! You’re up)

Ink, disappointed with the effect of his arrows, moves forward, now, thirty feet from the salamander, and casts witch bolt!

Ink, seeing the lightning bolt fly wide, mutters, "I'm getting rusty..." and readies his bow and arrow.
