Ink engages one of the knights with his scimitar, but he can tell that this foe is well protected and a capable fighter. The knight uses his bulk and heavy armor to counter Ink's lithe accuracy. 

Matrix's shots wing the dwarf knight and (Strength save: 5) knock him to the ground.

Crownsguard is able to just engage the dwarf knight, but the knight is quicker than anticipated. He uses his armor to deflect the blows from the flametongue before drawing his warhammer. 

Ayaci's shots pierce the dwarf's armor, both arrows hitting center mass. The dwarf keels over and collapses to the floor. 

King Harnoth cowers behind his throne while the bodyguard staunchly stand their ground, ready to defend their king with their own bodies. The nobles flee in either direction, one of them badly wounded from the earlier crossbow bolt.

With one of their number down, the rest of the "knights," in tandem, draw their warhammers and lash out against you, each one picking a hero. The dwarf on the left wing rushes forward to engage Ayaci, while the two rear knights focus on Marav. Although they are obviously alarmed by the sudden transformation of both heroes, they recklessly throw themselves at the larger combatants.

 Ink reacts with a swing of his blade, putting up a shield! Both swings of the hammer seem to deflect off against an invisible force!

Ink grunts with pain as the hammer slams into his chest... (Concentration check below)... but he just dodges the second swipe! 

Ink utters a few arcane words and makes his sword dance. The ruby in the hilt of one of the swords glows and THREE mirror images appear. 

In unison the mirror images strike at the dwarf (5) in front of them with two slashes of a scimitar! (Hasted action and Off-hand bonus action)

(If - and that's a big IF - the dwarf falls, Ink will reposition himself so that he's flanking Dwarf 6 with Crownsguard.) 

Quill does another flyby of the dwarf adjacent to Crownsguard, providing some help and giving the next aggressor on it some advantage! 

(Flyby on Dwarf 5 - if Dwarf 5 falls, then Dwarf 6.)

Marav turns, out of the corner of his eye he sees Aya having grown, "Niiice..." he says in a gravelly voice. "Watch this..." he then inhales and frost explodes from his mouth, blasting toward dwarves #2 & #3.

The dwarves are battered by the cold breath. One of them says something to the other in a language you don't understand.

Matrix will pump two rounds into the dwarf followed by a flurry of blows, moving to the nearest enemy if i drop him.

Ink isn't sure he's heard the words before, but he knows for a fact they aren't speaking dwarvish.

Crownsguard brings around another slash! Attack: 22 Damage: 11 magic slashing and 8 fire damage... and again, Attack: 11 Damage: 7 magic slashing and 6 fire damage...

Crownsguard pauses, “These calibrations are taking longer than anticipated.”

Seeing the the warforged paladin is having trouble, Aya opens her storm sight more fully. She sees a path in which his first strike is true, and she nudges the world in that direction.

(Crownsguard gets another shot on that first attack!)

She then lets fly 4 shots in quick succession

 Ink quips back, after over-swinging his scimitar attack for the 3rd or 4th time, in a very rushed manner, "I-don't-know-how-you-were-able-to-aim-moving-so-fast-while-everything-else-is-moving-so-slow!"

Marav tilts his head a little, "I remember you guys being good at this."

Ayaci puts four arrows into the dwarf knight at point-blank range, dropping him before he is able to lift his warhammer again.

Matrix takes advantage of the damage dealt to the dwarf that Marav just nearly froze, and knocks him unconscious. It's then that things get really weird. 

As Matrix hits the knight in the head, causing him to collapse to the floor, his skin ripples. Then, a large figure appears, as if being expelled from something half its size. The dwarf's unconscious body is shunted to the side, and in his place stands a creature with shaggy fur, horns, and a greatsword already in-hand. The fully-grown Yakaria warrior towers over Matrix and bellows in rage. It quickly repositions itself and performs a whirlwind attack against Matrix and Ayaci, while its hooves pummel the stone floor.

The other "knights" fight on, dogged in their determination. More of them utter strange phrases at each other. The voices are dwarvish, but the language is far more guttural, and it sounds like they're hurting their vocal cords trying to pronounce it. They move until they are all flanking their targets.
