Ink, replying to Marav and the others, "I have a bad feeling in general, but this sky castle is one of the pleasantries I think we will find in this budding crusade. Now, if you'll excuse me... curiosity calls."
Ink will begin to examine every nook and cranny of the spaces Zephyros has deemed okay for them to be in, cross referencing everything he sees with what he can remember from his books. Taking notes of anything new or interesting, especially the use of runes and the like throughout the castle, writing down those he may not understand fully to ask Zephyros about later.
During this travel time, Angel would take the opportunity to get to know everyone. He's only known these people for about a day but trusts that they are good folks. He would ask everyone a little bit about their lives: where they grew up, why they were going to Nightstone, why they decided to become adventures, what was their life like before adventuring, and, if they worship Lathander.
Marav sits down, "I grew up on a human farm. My family would raise humans for meat for the rest of our community. It was a lot of work, but decent money."
...
He waits as that sinks in, then starts laughing. "Actually I grew up with my human grandfather who taught me hunting and basic survival. Helped him on his farm. When he passed the previous winter I decided to go out on my own. Joined the Emerald Enclave and was sent here. You might have noticed among strangers I tend to raise my hood and keep my mouth shut. In dim light I can pass for human which helps life tremendously."
Angel, at first, was speechless. When Marav starts laughing Angel begins laughing too.
"Growing up on a farm sounds nice. I grew up in a monastery; spending my days training in Martial Arts and learning about Lathander. Also, you shouldn't hide your face from others. It just makes you look more suspicious and sometimes draws more attention to yourself than divert attention."
"Flint, at yer service! I'm from Citadel Adbar. Was a Corporal in the city garrison and saw action defendin' the city from the Many Arrows orc tribe back in 84-85. Den I was recruited by the Lord's Alliance an tasked wit gatherin' a group ta scout dis region for threats ta civilization, "Tip o' the spear" so to speak. So I tells 'im, "Ye daft fool! Canya see this is a WAR-hammer!? Go fin ye someone o' yer own kind ta use a spear." Well, 'e let me in anyways. So, tell me, are YOU a threat ta civilization?"

Many of the things in this room are simply too high up for you to see properly. There isn't a whole lot of investigating you seem to be able to do on the ground. But touching things, and with your attuned sense, you get the feeling that there's quite a bit of magical energy flowing around.
With your background in giant lore, you do know that cloud giants with magical abilities could create or even cities that floated on clouds, and that these cloud-castles were steered by some sort of magical device, a sort of orb or wheel. You've never seen such a device, and the exact name escape you.

At this moment, it seems that the tower is traveling at a rate of about 1½ feet per second (or 1 mile per hour). If the tower keeps this speed up, it would be quicker than traveling a winding road over the course of 24 hours or more.

It takes a couple hours, but Marav camps outside until he sees a griffon. A majestic creature he had heard of, but never seen before; the griffon has giant eaglelike wings, head, and talons, but the body of a great cat. His druid magic does not awaken at the sight of the creature, and he can tell instantly that the griffon is not part of the natural order of the world like normal beasts are.
Zephyros does not appear for several more hours, and the day is getting on towards night as the tower slowly floats northward.
The outside darkens, but the bright flames in the crystal balls above keep the lower floor brightly lit. The only areas of shadow are beneath the chair & table, and beneath the two giant stone statues that stand, as if at attention, opposite each other and facing the table.
"I'm sure its fine Marav. Now come on let's see if we can catch a glimpse of those Griffins from here."

Angel will look curiously at Rip after his response.
“For someone who goes around handing out books about himself you sure do clam up when asked to speak about your life.”
After saying that his eyes get wide as he realizes something.
”Duh, of course you wouldn’t tell me. It would spoiler your book. I’m sorry for asking you to spoil your work.”
