At Rip's words, Kella starts to tear up, and her face turns red. 

Meanwhile, Xolkin laughs as Solace, Flint, and Seviari gang up on him and attack him together. Their weapons bounce off the Zhent leader's skin with sparks, as if they were hitting solid iron. Xolkin drops his torch and reaches for the scimitar sheathed on his back with glee in his eyes.

Jorji's arrow easily finds the mercenary horsemen as he rides around the edge of the town square, and pierces his gut. His horse carries on without him, and veers right off the path towards the neighboring pig farm, for the has fallen off and into the wooden cart, demolishing it in the process.

Kella cries at Rip, "Shut up, you insect!" and runs at him, slashing wildly with her shortsword. Attack: 6 Damage: 6  Attack: 7 Damage: 8

Rip ducks as Kella's sword gets stuck for a moment in the wooden wall of the Inn. Beedo tries to shoot at Kella: Attack: 20 Damage: 8

Beedo's shot goes wide, he takes a Bonus Action to Hide: 25

From around the town square, the horsemen gather and begin directing their fire at the little gnome who is picking them off:
