The marauders had backed these adventurers up against a wall, and were illuminated by torchlight.

Rip chants a song that causes arcane energy to swirl from the blood of his that Kella spilled, scintillating out and around the current melee, before drawing his dagger, Roony.

Seviari kills one of the three remaining mercenaries on horseback, and ducks back down on top of the roof. Still he can't hide from Kella, who seems to have an almost preternatural sense about her, but the two riders are spooked. They cannot tell where the attacks are coming from.
