Storm King's Thunder

After a minute, an iron slit in the door at dwarf’s-eye level opens, and a gruff voice comes from within, accompanied by stone-gray eyes in the slit.

"Who is it? What do you want?"

"

"We are here for a delivery"

Rip turns to his companions and whispers  "this was where we needed to deliver the saddles right? I wasn't really paying much attention"

"Delivering what?" The eyes behind the door dart between each of you suspiciously. 

"Saddles my good sir!" persuasion 19

The eyes dart to the cart Boris is pulling. "Fine."

The iron slit slams shut, and after several seconds, you hear a large metal bar being slid out of its place. The oaken door swings ponderously open, and there stands a gray-bearded curmudgeon of a dwarf with palid skin. He is wearing clothes befitting a castellan, although they look threadbare. 

He motions for you to leave the leather harnesses in the foyer. "You can put them there, then off with you."

"We have heard many wonderous tales of the Hunt Lords, any chance of an audience?" Marav asks absolutely straight faced.

Angel is going to pay special attention to the Dwarf and his answer about the Hunt Lords. He wants to see if he knows that we were the ones that destroyed the other two.

"We've asked for an audience with your masters and you've ignored the protocols required of you for it - and now you babble about a hammer unsolicited?" Ink asks with an annoyed and angered tick to his voice.

The dwarf's suspicious eyes fall on Ink and the swords at his side, and he slowly raises his hands in a placating manner. "Now, I didn't meant to offend. I'll go and ask the lords if they would deign to entertain guests, if you'll just make yourselves comfortable." He hurries off through the foyer and jogs right, down a stone entry hall. His shoes echo as he shuffles down the corridor. 

"There is th' matter o' payment as well..." //or were we paid already? Don't recall//

"Run. He's going to warn them." Ink dashes after him, enacting spellsong (movement is now 40'.)

Marav smiles and follows Ink. 

The dwarf castellan sees Ink chasing after him from down the hall, and he shuffles more urgently towards an open door on the left.

(If you would like to try and stop him, I'll just need an initiative check that beats a 19)
