Upon hearing the words "Punch the fire" Ink turns around to survey the situations.... he sighs, and says, "You know, I just figured you all would just smother the flames when they were still small with your cloaks or bedrolls or something - maybe dampen them with your canteen's water... magic does not solve all problems."
Ink hustles between the dead wights, picking up the bard's rapier and the wizard's scimitar, lashing them quickly to his belt, then goes to drag the two bodies out of the room, remarking, "At this point, might as well let the room burn - but they may still have something useful on them. Help would be nice... and we still have a live wight to chase. And who said anything about cursed blades?" Ink scoffs that last question out of his throat.
Marav tosses the sword aside and starts to use Druidcraft to start snuffing out campfire size sections of the fire. "We don't need more cursed blades right now"
Marav can control a section of the fire, but it's spreading too rapidly for himself to contain. He'll need some help.

As Ink straps the scimitar and rapier to his belt, he begins to feel uncomfortable—like there's an itch that needs scratching, but he's not sure where it is.
At this point we'll come out of the main initiative order and have you tell me what you're spending the next minute doing. The flames spread rapidly if left unchecked, threatening the wooden pillars holding up the ceiling.
As Ink straps the scimitar and rapier to his belt, he begins to feel uncomfortable—like there's an itch that needs scratching, but he's not sure where it is.
Ink pauses.
He looks quizzically at the scimitar. He sheaths ae shortswords, then grabs the scimitar from its makeshift scabbard. He turns towards the fire and begins walking towards it. As he gets closer, the Ruby of the War Mage pops off of the shortsword Blood. He catches it midair and pockets the ruby.
Ink gets even closer to the fire and raises the curved blade. It looks much more comfortable in his hands than the shortswords ever did.
Ink raises the blade, the light produced by the flames doubles... the flames then begin to extinguish one five foot cube at a time, starting with the flames threatening beams of structural importance first.
Rip is also helping fight the fire and does prayer of healing gives all of us 18 hp? "Cool scimitar Ink, but we should get the wights weapons blessed or cleansed before use. Also dibs on the rapier."
Ink responds as he extinguishes the flames, "I don't understand why you think they need to be cleansed - they work just fine. Admittedly, Flint got hurt using it against one of the wights, but it's feasible that a weapon that controls undead likely doesn't like destroying it, and he seems fine to me."
// by the way, at five by five by five cubic feet per six seconds, and with Marav and Rip helping, Ink will have this fire cleansed in under a minute. Yes, the prayer of healing is 18 hp each. //
Once the fires are under control, Ink lights three torches and passes them out to whoever wants them doubling the visible light of each torch, commenting, "This plus Rip's spell of light should be plenty for us to maneuver about."
"Any weapons used by minions of Orcus are not to be trusted. Anyway the good news is the last hunt lord is probably still in the keep, it being the middle of the day and all. Let's end this, then worry about the weapons. They should be cleansed as a matter of propriety."
The fires doused and the torches distributed, Ink sits in a meditative stance waiting for Flint to finish his ritual.
Responding to Rip, "I find your lack of respect concerning. Both Flint and I know what we're doing - you've seen that. There's no reason to doubt us. So you should stop doing so."

Angel stays with the group. He’s wise enough to know that in his current state he couldn’t take the wight all alone. He instead takes a potion of healing to keep the sting off his wounds and then keeps an eye out in case the wight comes back.
"who said i'm doubting you? Its those weapons i don't trust, one can never be too cautious when dealing with evil. I'd rather be proven wrong and have you tell me 'see Rip? all that worrying for nothing!' than have something ill befall my friends"

Once the fires are out Marav will go stealth and see if I can see where the hunt lord went (direction, not going more than a dash distance from the party, just trying to get a feel for direction).
There seems to be no trace of the ninja monk, the one that the wight-bard called “Legna.” But in a search of the room here you will find an old wooden chest, seemingly unlocked.

The scimitar instantly attunes to Ink.
While holding the scimitar, Ink can cast the Control Flames cantrip. His spellcasting ability for this spell (if it ever comes up) is Charisma.

With Rip and Marav working to keep the fire under control, extinguishing it is a simple matter for Ink’s new scimitar.
Flint is offering a prayer of healing—what is Angel doing? Still chasing down the wight?
