Marav can hear the ever-approaching howls, and his ears and nose are able to pick up all sorts of details on this woman. Her heart beats strongly within her chest, and her breathing is still fast-paced since she vaulted off the cart with Ink.

She pauses at the sound of drums and notices Ink’s surreptitious movement as he casts the spell. “What is this? Stop the tricks right now! You dishonor your clan, trickster,” says the woman to Ink, looking wildly around as if trying to figure out what is happening. Her voice increases in volume. “Stop it! Stop it now!”

"Calm  yerself  lass, 'e's  just joggin' yer memory. We're  at peace an' no cause ta  rush, would ye  tell us what ye saw?" Persuasion 9

Ink, having been caught, eyes the woman, unintimidated letting the drums swell a - few - poun - ding - beats - more. He then snaps his fingers and the drums stop.

"And you depend on the wolf. Would Uthgar approve? We all have our gifts that we use to our advantage. Tell us what we want to know, and we can go our separate ways."

“Yes...” she says, still looking around as if expecting the drums to start again. 

“Very well. Many big ones walk the land in this time. Some becoming allies of our people, but some becoming enemies. We are tracking a big one, but he was found first by another clan. That clan took too much meat, and not...had victory. The big one is gone now, and scent is weak.”

Ink nods keeping his eyes on hers, then asking "Which big ones did you ally with? Which are allies of the Red Tigers?"

"The one you are tracking - has as his scent of winter and cold?" 

"The big one has...strange scent. Stinks of big ones, and stinks of humans," says the wild woman to Ink. "But our...affairs...are ours, and you do not understands the ways. You stay away, or you die," she warns. At these words, she rapidly transforms into a lithe and powerful wolf form. While this happens, she turns and begins bounding away from you, towards the howling.

Ink yells out after her, "Go to Noaners Hold - you'll find an ally there!"

Then, to the others he says with a sigh, "Let's get the hell out of here." 

Crownsguard nods, “Agreed. I am very tired of dealing with dangerous wolf people. It would be best if we avoided creatures like that in the future.”

"We'll  need'ta be findin' a campsite soon, Boris is gettin' tired."

Crownsguard will shutdown once more when they make camp. Horse meanwhile will simply tick away in silence.

Ink will prepare a tiny hut for the group, suggesting we try to hide Boris and the cart with the shrubbery, etc. He'll color the hut to match the ground.

He'll spend a couple hours reading and writing... One hour journalizing everything that's transpired since his last entry, then another hour or so reading his books, ritual casting comprehend languages as needed.

He'll request to take the first rest as he needs only five hours (four to tranc days and rest, and one to memorize his spells), then offer to take guard the rest of the night and morning.
