"Hmmm.... you all can take a pinch to yourself if you want. Pixies tend to be.... chaotic.... I can only imagine that their dust is the same. Knowing the pranksters they tend to be, their dust is just as likely to make you fly as it is turn you into a butterfly." Then, with a sly look, "I do like to perform experiments... maybe I should take a pinch and put some on each of you to see what it does - repeatable results lead to solid conclusions."
Then, after a moment, and with a more serious composition, "Then again, it's powerful enough that perhaps we shouldn't waste it unless we're desperate enough to use it."
Several days pass without incident, and you manage to have a few conversions with Zephyros.
Over this leg of the journey, the eastern peaks of the Sword Mountains slowly pass on your distant left, and Dessarin Valley passes below, slowly climbing down from the Sumber Hills. On the seventh day you see the great 2-mile Stone Bridge, which spans the river Dessarin, far to your right.
A few days later, the Black Maw Bog approaches ahead of you. If you know the lay of the land, you know that Triboar isn't too far off.
// Is there anything else that you've been up to these last several days? //
Ink is just learning what he can about the current situation, giant history, and Arcanum... Maybe compare what he sees below to his maps.... Learn cloud giant recipes if Zephyros cooks... Spending hours outside so that Quill can fly about. Still keeping to the routine of mage Armor in the morning with reapplication near its expiration, followed by a short rest to recover spell slots.
Angel doesn't change his routine throughout the flight. He still trains in the morning and attempts to help everyone with their daily endeavors in the afternoon. During this time traveling together, Angel has really gotten close with everyone and hopes the Order will allow him to keep traveling with them in order to learn more about whats happening with the Giants and also stop them.
Over the days, Marav comes to the realization that while the Emerald Enclave is important to him, they gave him a place when his grandfather had died after all, they weren't the most important thing. This thing with the giants could very easily break bonds.
"Anyone else feel like we are doing something important here? We are at the center of something amazing, something scary. I think we need to see it to the end no matter what. Factions don't matter as much as whatever we are in the middle of." Marav sighs, knowing this journey will define them.
"Well, I don't know if we're doing something important - yet - but I do know that there are people in Triboar that could use the information we have and that is important enough for now."
After a pause, Ink says, "I'll be outside, studying the sky. Let's go Quill, time to stretch out your wings."
"Well, I don't know if we're doing something important - yet - but I do know that there are people in Triboar that could use the information we have and that is important enough for now."
"I do believe that we are doing something important here but, let's not count out factions. We don't need to make any more enemies of large groups than we already have."
As someone who was raised by the Order, Angel doesn't know if anything is more than them.
"Oh I am not suggesting we alienate any of our allies, just getting the feeling that something that is happening might be bigger than them, that's all."

"Oh I am not suggesting we alienate any of our allies, just getting the feeling that something that is happening might be bigger than them, that's all."
"That is a thoughtful statement, Marav - I've always found blind allegiance a terrifying position to take. The world is not black and white, nor is it gray - it is full of brilliant color and we should let those colors affect how we see everything. It is what allowed your friend Rip to befriend a goblin and to broker a peace deal, albeit a shaky one, between the town of the Nightstone and their neighboring goblins in those caverns. Blind allegiance would not have allowed for that."
//I just realized that everyone may be inside while I am outside so, yeah, I might not have heard Marav or vice-versa. So nevermind! LOL //
//Oh we were talking so I would have wandered out with you, prefer outside anyway.//
"First of all, nothing wrong with gray," Marav gestures at his grey skin. "Also, pretty sure either the goblins killed everyone in Nightstone once we left or vice versa."
"That's no way to think Marav. You have to stay positive otherwise everything goes downhill. Besides, beyond colors, the world is also full of Lathanders Light. His Light is everywhere and in every living thing. You just have to let it shine."
The first thing that Ink notices is a note of telepathic alarm from Quill.
The next thing, which all those outside see, is a shadow suddenly passing over—something was coming at you from out of the noonday sun, and quickly.
As you squint skyward, you see the silhouette of a huge dragon gliding towards the tower. Several humanoids appear to be clutched it its talons! The dragon flairs its wings to land, and disappears on the far side of the tower.
"...wait... was that a... a dragon? Do you think it would be willing to give me an interview? 'Interviews with Dragons: A Rip Dangerfield exclusive' has a nice ring to it, Lead on Marav and Flint!"
"Give me time to work on my shape-changing. I'll figure out flying then I can fly you."
