Storm King's Thunder

Flint holds his action to cast guiding bolt at the giant if it makes any attacks.

 Ink replies using message once more - he unsheaths his blade and holds it over head and says in GIANT, "Your divining rod deceives you, for the star metal you found is my blade and not a part of your constructed offering to the All-Father. Yes... I know. For I have seen the Temple of Amman and looked upon the faceless statue at its heart. I have heard HIS voice and we have taken up his cause! Now return home, unless, through us, you crave the All-Father's WRATH!"

 Ink's Persuasion (INT) check w/ adv 19 and Deception (CHA) check 13 

Don looks at ink, mouths the word "Really?"

He straightens up, "You dare insult the All-Father's emissary?!? You would do well to believe him when he speaks. Those who have went against us have not faired well." Don gestures toward the pile of bones and bodies they were preparing for burial." His voice is a deep guttural booming voice.

//Should be pretty impressive sites, those thunderbeasts were huge and we killed them by blasting them over and over again from the sky, I assume it looks like a war front after being bombed//

"He did that with one wave of his hand! You should listen to him." Don finishes.

//As he does this he casts Prestidigitation and causes Inks eyes to appear red and his hands to appear to be glowing slightly with little tendrils of smoke.//

Ink looks at Don and mouths the words, "Really? FIRE giant."

Don looks at Ink out of the side of his eyes, "What are you trying to convince him of? I can help if I know what the play is."

Of course no one else hears this because Don is using his Awakened Mind to ask Ink.

"You guys are great at this, I'm honestly surprised you ever get into fights." As matrix doesn't speak giant you can't quite tell if he is being sincere or not, but it definitely doesn't feel like it

Crownsguard holds Matrix tighter in this weird offensive embrace, “Thank you. We often try our best.”

The giant slows his run and, seeing the airship lift higher into the sky, scowls and impudently throws his rock up at the vessel!

The big rock sails through the air and violently smashes into the underside of the airship, rocking it fiercely as it continues to ascend.

Damage to the hull: 42

(Please make a DC 19 Strength Saving Throw or be knocked prone. If you could see the giant throwing the rock, you have time for a single reaction to that event before the Saving Throw, if you have any reactions that apply)

Ink falls back, away from the railing, onto the deck of the ship... prone. 

Matrix is bucked right off the deck and over the side of the ship!

Matrix please make a Dexterity Saving Throw!

Matrix is now dangling from the rail of the ship, while Don is knocked off his feet.

The giant down below begins looking around on the ground.

"He's looking for more stones, hold on!" Don stands up fires two quick blasts of pure energy at the giant then moves toward the center of the ship trying to get down below before the ship is hit again.

 "Belay that order! Keep climbing! He's looking for the adamantine - stones he has! We need to get out of its range! We need to either get out here faster or hide ourselves from that giant's view!" Ink cries out to those aboard as he gets up. 

Ink runs towards the railing and notices Matrix, and says, "And someone grab that monk before he falls off for good!"

He peeks over the edge and drops an 80 foot diameter fog cloud just beyond the ship, interposed between the giant and the airship!

He then steps back five feet towards the interior of the ship, away from the railing. 

The other fog cloud further below begins to disperse, as if whatever was holding it together was no longer present. 

The crew look confusedly between Flint and Ink before the captain yells, “Get us away from that giant! We ain’t equipped to fight him.”

As if to punctuate her words, another large rock pierces the fog cloud and flies harmlessly, though ominously, past the starboard bow before arcing back down towards the ground. 

“He seems irritated.”
