Ah been healed since then an' ah been tryin' what ah know ta fix it. Nothin' ta be done. Turns out ah don'need ta turn me head all that much anyway."
"All fine and good, but we're going to a temple now," Ink says firmly.
"Stubborn dwarf," he says under his breath.
Ink asks Don if he's been picking up any other adamantine rods with theirs and then asks the others to help him find a suitable temple for Flint to get that wound checked out.
With the airship repaired, you are free to travel once more. News of your arrival in this vessel, and some word of your recent exploits, has spread around the city in the two weeks you’ve been here, bringing more than the fair share of onlookers and other interested parties.
The Neverwinter Guard, content for the time being that you are no threat to the city, has left you alone. However, your group have become more recognizable the more time you’ve spent here, and many of the guard shoot you dirty looks, and have begun to spit on the ground as you pass.
Don does indeed detect another adamantine rod. Each time he uses the rod, he senses another one approximately 8 miles out (it is slightly close one day, slightly farther the next). It seems to be moving slowly, if at all.
After finding a temple for Flint to get checked out, Ink is going to check in with the local Harper's to see why the guards are becoming hostile... He suspects it's because they're traveling with dragon cultists, but he'd like to verify.
// Anyone going to help Ink find Flint a temple to get checked out? And is Flint willing to let Ink help him? //
Ink will also warn the Harper's that there's at least one fire giant about 8 miles out, assuming Don shares the info.
Ink, noting they're short on time casts sending targeting Thestryl Mellardin, Harper of Waterdeep, saying, "Please warn Neverwinter counterpart there is at least one fire giant stalking around eight miles from Neverwinter. Attack is a possibility - they seek adamantine. Ink."
-----
Next time a Neverwinter guard spits at Ink, he stops and turns to face them, palms out in submission, then asks, "I fought alongside you brethren decades ago against the orc invasions, why the hostility? Is it our chauffeurs?"
----
// Current spell selection is based on travel, when they're a day out from landing (wherever that might be) he'd change his spells the following morning.
Ink receives a telepathic “affirmative” from the young mage Thestryl, her mental tone that of seriousness and grit.
Ink’s question of the human guard causes the other to raise from his leaning position to his full height and stand less than a foot from Ink. The guard is a bit shorter than Ink, but he sneers up into his eyes and says, “I dunno what ‘shofers’ is, but you can take yer fancy language and yer fancy ship and go back to where you came from, elf. We don’t need you here no more.”
It took many hands and much effort, The airship is ready and poised to take to the skies once again on a cold Nightal morning.
The weeks you’ve spent here have shown you why they call the city “Neverwinter.” The distant landscape all around you is blanketed in snow, but Neverwinter itself (and a fair amount of surrounding land) has not an inch of snow on it. The air is chilly, but though there has been some rain and light hail in these intervening days, you’ve seen nary a snowflake anywhere near the city. The harbor at the mouth of the Neverwinter River is especially temperate, belying the frigid appearance of the sea and small islands less than a mile away.
You once again have the freedom to traverse Faerûn in your flying gondola. Your navigator asks where you’d like to travel next.

Ink's face contorts with naked anger, he looks down at the guard and says through gritted teeth, "I carry more scars on my body from protecting this city than you have years of life on Toril. If you ever see me on the same side of the street as you, I suggest you cross to the other side."
Ink immediately turns and walks away with utter irreverence to the man.

Ink comments that the his friends have been made aware of the fire giant outside of Neverwinter. Ink is aware that some of the group are anxious to return to the temple, and he'll go with that plan but requests that they go to the Great Worm Cavern first, as he's curious to see how they fare after the loss of their tribal leader. New leadership may mean that it might be easier to pull the relic as there might be an ongoing power struggle.
Ink responds, "I suppose so, but I'm down to only one spell of any power left... Oh, well."
Ink casts SENDING targeting Lord Protector of Triboar Darathra, "Ink and crew incoming via airship - we wanted to give forewarning, as it is crewed by dragon cultists, but are docile and follows our instructions."
// Flint sets up a still below deck. How much would you think that would cost with artisan's blessing? Just call it brewer's supplies @ 20gp? //
// Sounds good to me! Just be sure to narrate what it looks like. //
Your course set and the winter wind coming in strong from the north, Delsephine suggests you head below deck before you catch a chill. “Triboar should be within sight by about noon tomorrow,” she says.
Meanwhile, Lord Protector Darathra of Triboar responds to Ink’s telepathic message, <I wasn’t sure I‘d ever hear from you again! You five are more than welcome, but I suggest the cultists keep scarce.>
Ink relays the message to the others and suggests the Flint and he act as the face of the group at first as the five she's getting are not the five she remembers.
Ink thanks Delsephine for the concern and will stay below deck. He speaks to her and requests that they try to maintain a low profile while there, explaining that many people are still a little put off by a dragon-based religion and although that is not necessarily fair, it is something that will take time for many to accept.
Ink completes copying the Detect Magic scroll into his spell book, and then copies that into his backup book, and returns the scroll to Flint suggesting that he sell it to recover some of his expenses.
