 The black pudding (for that is what it is) fills the entire doorway to the cavern, cutting off any means of escape. It rears up and uses a pseudopod to try and slam into Ink—Attack: 6 Damage: 5

Angel will back up 5 feet and gather radiant energy into his fists before unleashing three radiant bolts at the ooze.

"Holy Hell!" yells Ink... and immediately begins to hum and dance //activating bladesong with his bonus action//.

Marav is going to make 2 hits with his short sword.

Attack: 15 Damage: 6
Attack: 12 Damage: 6

Sev is going to shoot with his bow.

Attack: 24 Damage: 9

//And yes as a player I know what doing slashing damage will do, but Marav has never ran across a black pudding. This fight is not gonna be fun.//

Marav's first blow with the shortsword cuts the ooze, and it splits itself down the middle, refroming into two (albeit smaller) black puddings!

Seviari's arrow hits the pudding with force and melts into its inky blackness.

Ink, meanwhile, takes advantage of the situation and performs a very tricky acrobatic maneuver to get past the ooze, but accidentally brushes against it. Ink takes 4 acid damage.

Slightly singed, Ink tries to let off a flamebolt.
