At the shriek, Saros looks up toward the window and is stunned to see Ghee falling from the window and mutters to himself "Tried to warn em" before his concern for their wellbeing hits him. Calling out to the others he says "Door's open if you want to go that way, but there may be traps. Might be better to follow Khan into the room through the window, Wierding only had one blast like that to hit us with, chances are that whatever is up there is not any more powerful than Weirding, but that is just a guess"
He waits to see if he can be of any use to the others down here, still feeling weak from the battle himself and close to losing conciousness still, he can't afford to lead the way into any traps that may be sprung, so does not venture into the house yet.

"Bleep will go and see if Leader Khan need aid." Bleep croaks after seeing Ghee plummet to the ground. Whatever made that huge blast is still up there, so trying get in without getting its attention will be necessary.
As Ghee twitches on the ground, both Ang and Darrik approach to evaluate the situation. The purple grung is the one who springs into action, quickly smearing some herbs that cause the albino dwarf to sit back up. (Ghee heals 1 HP, but is still stunned and prone.)
Saros does some quick mental math and deduces that the new threat cannot be worst than the previous one. He pushes the main door open and invites the others to enter ahead of him, though he suggests someone should probably check that window first.
Bleep does exactly that, quickly climbing the wall and peering into the girl's room. He sees the girl still sitting in the same corner, sobbing uncontrollably and hic-upping. Just a few yards from her, Khan's body lies still. Bleep understand right away that the orange grung's situation is not fixing itself. (Khan is no longer stunned, but remains unconscious. DEATH saving throws: 0:1).
The girl has not noticed Bleep on the window. Khan is only 15ft away from Bleep.
(OOC: Everyone can take their next "turn." Khan needs another DEATH saving throw. Ghee needs another INT saving throw.)
If Khan is capable of dreaming anything within the black of abyss of forced unconsciousness.. then all of them certainly involve a certain two pairs of heads on stakes as she dances around them croaking a song of triumphant...

Saros will step to the side of the door, still outside, as the others enter "Spread out, don't bunch up....just in case"
If the others get in and advance into the house, Saros will follow suit, pulling the door closed behind him, retaining the key, but does not lock it (just in case locking the door activates anything....you just can't trust undead mind-flayer wizards like you used to). He then pauses again, but moves to the left or right of the door just inside and looks around for signs of magic (sigils etc) that might be a trap, assuming that the others will make their way up to stairs to the room that Khan and the girl are in.

Bleep creeps closer as he looks around for anything that may have taken his leader out of commission. His primary concern right now is to get Khan back on her feet.
Trusting Ghee will finish recovering on his own any minute now, Ang and Darrik move away from the monk and toward Saros. The wizard allows the other two to enter the house first. He too trusts that Ghee will know what to do, closing the door behind him (but not locking it).
Saros advises caution to his two companions. Darrik listens and begins to poke random objects with his stick: a vase here, a painting there, the rail on the central stair case. It all looks like the party remembers it. It all behaves as the party would expect. Saros himself takes a careful look around, certain he'll find a trap or two. Instead, all he finds is a frightened, balding gnome approaching the group slowly and in a meager fashion. Gnator Gnimmcap, the manor's grounds keeper and hired town guide upon first arrival, pokes from behind a corner on the second floor and says: "Hello... Everyone safe down there? Is everything alright?"
Ghee remains stunned and prone outside. The manor door is closed.
Khan dreams and twitches (DEATH saving throws: 1:1)
Bleep takes a look around the room while still remaining hidden on the other side of the broken window. He sees no obvious threat in the room: no monsters, no weapons, no signs of a trap. He is also pretty sure none of Khan's visible wounds look as if they were just dealt within the last several seconds. The girl remains crying in terror in a corner.
(OOC: Everyone can take their next "turn." Khan needs another DEATH saving throw. Ghee needs another INT saving throw.)
Saros looks at Gnator, instantly suspicious and tries to discern if anything rings false against the seemingly innocent greeting (which seems wierdly out of place given the yelling, spells and combat that has been going on outside) (Insight 9) but outwardly he will greet him back "Gnator....we are fine now, but fighting through the goblins to gethere was tough, I'm glad we managed to make it here and the manor hasn't been overrun...are you alright?" (this is all absolutely true) As he is talking Saros adjusts his spectacles and triggers their power, attempting to Charm Person charm Gnator (WIS DC13) assuming that he is within 30ft.

Bleep, not seeing anything that would have caused his leader to fall, but still not trusting his surroundings, sneaks up and feeds Khan one of his potions of healing. Now, he is more concerned with the well-being of his leader. Deciding what to do with the human girl will come after.

Gnator is behaving just as frightened as the group remembers, so Saros has a difficult time telling whether the balding gnome is faking his emotions. Not willing to take any risks, Saros flicks his magical lenses onto his face and charms Gnator into a fleeting friendship. The grounds keeper straightens his jacket and speaks to Saros: "I am sorry you had to fight your way inside, but you are here, and so you are safe now. Should I prepare some rooms for you and your companions?"
Darrik stays by Saros's side for now, but Ang mostly ignores all of the interaction and dashes up to the second floor. It will take some more time for her to reach her commander.
Outside, Ghee finally regains control of his own brain. Still sitting on the ground, he looks around and notices he was left behind.

IN THE GIRL'S ROOM
Khan's dream turns into a nightmare (DEATH saving throws: 1:2)
Bleep finally makes his way into the room once the girl at the corner shoves her face into her own knees in an attempt to hide her crying. Bleep feels confident that she has yet to notice his presence. Slowly, he makes his way to the orange grung and uncorks one of his own healing potions (common). He pulls on Khan's chin and gingerly pours the liquid into her mouth.
-> Potion roll: 5
Khan opens up her eyes slowly but remain on the floor for now. (Khan heals for 5 HP.)
Satisfied that the glasses seem to have done the job, Saros stays to keep Gnator close "No rooms at the moment thanks Gnator, perhaps later....and don't mind the grung, they feel the need to look for any danger. they will be back soon. What we do need is information. What is going on in town, we saw Lord Weirding, Mex and some of the guards outside but they could not help us. Who else is in the house, I thought I heard a girls scream, who is she and is she alright?"
(In the interest of saving multiple posts) Saros will also take the first opportunity to ask some additional questions
"You must know this house backwards, does Lord Weirding have any special rooms where he keeps important items....perhaps some that will help us turn the battle against the goblins attacking the town? Do you have any friends or family in town that we should look for"
If he does have knowledge of such a room (or rooms) he adds "Can you take us to them and let us in if there are any locks, magical or otherwise"
Whatever the response(s) he says to Darrik, "Keep Gnator company, I think it is worth casting another spell to detect any magic, we need to find the periapt" Saros will move away from Darrik and Gnator and begin another casting of Detect Magic, with the intention of first visiting the girls room to see what is there, and then having Gnator show them any special or secret rooms that he is prepared to offer up.
