“Before we continue friends,” Jarret says, “isn’t it getting late and there is still the obvious problem of Mardak. Should we rest and continue in the morning?”
"Floon should be fine. If the Xanathars think he is Renear, he should be able to stall for a while longer. And while it's important to save his life, we shouldn't recklessly endanger Markdak. Maybe we can pick up a potion at the Xoblob shop?"
It seems we have mixed feelings among the party on whether to continue searching for Floon or to wait till tomorrow to resume the search. Please post below which option your character is taking and tell why.
Ooc: per above, Krivnaar is in favor of a short 1 hour rest, to get mardak on his feet ( and Kriv gets his spell slot back). But delaying a day may endanger Floon.
Morgan would be inpatient, but would see the sense of doing a short rest. he would try to talk the other noble into waiting for them, instead of rushing off on his own.
Renaer exits the warehouse with the party in tow. (I assume someone is carrying Mardak.) They all traverse down Candle Lane for a moment as Renaer takes the time to inspect the quality of the rapier and dagger that he scavenged from the Zhentarim corpses. "Rubbish." Renaer mumbles under his breath, coming to a stop at the intersection.
"I propose we visit the Skewered Dragon and take a breather. Hopefully your dwarvish priest will be on his feet by then and we can investigate the sewers." Renaer suggests, as he looks up into the night sky, realizing how late it is and that it's getting colder. "Getting some heat would be delightful." he adds in, as he waits to see what the party thinks.
The cold doesn't bother Krivnaar, but he nevertheless nods firmly to Renaer. "Indeed, a breather would be most welcome! And perhaps stop by the Old Xabob shop on the way, Rashar seemed interested..."
Renaer nods his head, as he guides the party down the main road on their way back to the Skewered Dragon. "I've never been there, not sure if Xoblob has potions or not. I think he's just a curator." Renaer mentions, as he finally stows his rapier and dagger away. "Remind me to invest in quality weapons after we find Floon."
"You can always stop at my family's smithy." Morgan informs the other noble with a nod. "Finest weapons you'll find in Waterdeep." He puts in with a shrug. He follows to the tavern, hoping their companion wakes soon so they can get on with it.
Rashar follows along the two nobleman as well. He’s a bit quiet, mulling over his new involvement with the two criminal enterprises. On the way, he watches out for anyone following the group.

Cath grins as they head out. "Looks like you nobles are our guards, interesting turn of events. Let's find Floon."
Krivnaar chuckles a bit at seeing the legal code. "Oh, I've committed that to memory, I assure you!"
Looking over to Mardak, he suggests: "Perhaps we take a little breather before going too far on, help our friend get back on his feet?"
-OOC-
I think Mardak hasn't used his HD yet, so could use that over a short rest?
“Agreed,” says Jarret.

(Rashar agrees with Krivnaar. Short rest, and if we could pick up a potion at the Xoblob Shop that would be nice).

Cath wants to get away from the City Watch but is good with a short rest if they kind find a place to do it safely.
Well, i am still unconscious ;)
But Mardak would have a short rest and then head out as well.
