Shad is still staring warily at the water and the ship in it, but he hears Qinfaren. "I know it looks good," he says about his coat, "but I only got it for the pockets. Lots of them. Nothing magic about it. Hopefully we can find a place with serious winter gear before the Icebreaker!" If the others are on shore and Shad thinks they're ready, he'll step toward the lighthouse. It's a bit of a walk, he thinks.
Done with their business on the ship, Bjorn nods in agreement and falls in step behind Shad, "Shad is right, the dale is a cruel mistress. I've seen too many a poor soul frozen solid out in the open. You'll be wanting warm clothing if you haven't got them already."

You make you back up the beach, heading in towards the city. You walk past the Cutlass, on your way to through to the nearest bridge that will get you to the North Bank. After half an hour, you make it to Harbor Cross. Crossing the Short Span of Harbor Cross, you make it to Blood Island. On the island you come across many soldiers walking between their barracks, an armoury and a guard tower. There is little else of interest here, and the soldiers pay no attention to you as you continue on your way.
The Long Span of Harbor Cross takes you the rest of the way to the North Bank. Once on the other side, you make your way southwest back out towards the coast. The path down onto the Open Shore is a short distance from the end of the Long Span and soon you are down on the beach. However, as the foot of the lighthouse comes into view, you see a small gathering waiting on the beach. The gathering consists of two humans, a half-elf and a goblin. On the wait of each of these people, you see a scimitar hanging from a belt around their waist.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Muharg takes a good look at them and tries to figure out if they seem to be in good terms with each other or if there's some kind of conflict going on. He also tries to discern if they are in a sneaky attitude, like waiting for something or someone to assault.
"What do you think about that lot over there? Shall we go greet them?" Says Muharg casually resting his hand on the axe at his belt.
"I don't think we have a choice if we want to get the parcel. But we should approach with caution." Bjorn responds as he slows his walk the closer they get.

Muharg studies the body language of the four people standing on the beach. He realises that they do seem to at least be on friendly terms with each other if not friends. Though they their is a tension in their bodies that suggests that they are prepared for something. Muharg also notices a couple of coin purses at their feet that none of them seem to be keeping a close eye on.
It seems that these four are bandits waiting to target those they consider to be easy targets.

“Be wary...” Whispers Muharg to the group. “See those coin purses at their feet? It seems theese fellows are up to no good over there” Keeps walking with intent towards the lighhouse
Rianath narrows his eyes and flexes his fingers, but continues moving forward with the group.
"If it's an ambush they're lookin' for, we wouldn't make for a good target. Too many of us with too many weapons. They'd hav'ta be crazy t'try it." With that, he shifts his hands to rest on the hilts of his blades on his belt, readying himself for potential confrontation just in case.
Qinfaren looks over to the group of four waiting on the beach.
”Perhaps we should just ask them,” he says. “If they say yes then I can try and entangle them with a few friendly vines and grasses and we can then go on our way. If they say no then we have nothing to worry about.”
Shad reaches deep within his coat for a tiny vial of his own blood. He is ready to cast Bane if the group on the beach attacks. Once they are within range of the spell, he will stop moving toward them.
Qinfaren stops when Shad stops, then he waves at the four people that raised Muharg's suspicions.
"Hi there. We're heading into the lighthouse," Qinfaren says to them in a loud voice. "My friends think you might try and stop us. Is that true? I don't think that would be much fun. You can't let, like, greed drive you all the time."
He gestures down the beach.
"Why don't you head on down the beach, and maybe, you know, relax a bit. I've heard of people making castles in the sand. Now that sounds fun."
Rianath leans forward, gamely nodding and indicating around to play along with inspecting the details. His actions stutter to a stop and his teeth snap together with a barely audible click, his widened eyes looking at the others. "Now we won't have the upper hand neither," he whines quietly. "Remind me later t' teach you lot about bein' sneaky." He rolls his eyes to give Muharg an exasperated but amused shrug, then turns his full attention to the group before them.
Muharg jaw drops a little bit, then he over-puts himself together, adjusts his belt, and shows the way down the beach with his hand to the group in front of them.
Bjorn's eyebrows rise a little in surprise. Shaking his head at the situation, he tightens his grip on his spear as he keeps a close eye on the situation,
