"Ice!" Arogna brightens a little. "I forgot about that. Use to do that back at home. Thanks, man." Stepping out of the forge door, Arogna pulls a cloth out of her backpack, breaks off a few icicles from the eaves, and wraps them in it. She presses the bundle to her forehead and a certain amount of relief washes over her face, along with some trickles of meltwater after a minute or two.
Shad watches Arogna press ice to her forehead in amazement, but says "Pain killer? Right? I guess that would work! Might have to remember that." He then starts back tot he ship, hoping to deliver the last package.
As you head back to the ship you notice a couple of others heading that way also wearing the Luskar Deliverer's uniforms. They give a polite nod of recognition when the notice you, but otherwise carry on their way.
When you board the ship, you see Captain Silvermane giving orders to some of his crew whilst you see Parcelmaster Bassk leaning over the railing of the Icebreaker. He is looking out to sea, away from the Ice Peak. A frown is displayed across his face as he continues to scan the horizon.

As Qinfaren approaches the Parcelmaster, he turns around, "I'm sure I saw something in the water just now. Something huge, but then it disappeared."
He then takes a deep breath and relaxes.
"I'm sure it was nothing, but we will be setting sail again soon. We will be returning to Fireshear. From there, you will have to continue your journey across land, the Icebreaker will continue on down south. You will head to Hundelstone before continuing to Ten Towns."

"I did," Shad says. "Back at another port, close to the shore, like we are now." He joins Qinfaren and the parcel master. "What did what you saw look like? Are we being followed?" He will peer into the water: Perception 6.
"Maybe it was this very bay," Shad says. "I'm not sure. It was large. A grim, darkness, even more fearful than the waves themselves." He leans back from the railing, not seeing anything in the water.
"Fireshear, Huddlestone, then the Ten Towns." He pauses for a moment. "What happened to that dwarven blacksmith? Giggles? I'm ready to be at Fireshear, but that town might not be ready for him."
Muharg also leans on the railing and scans the horizon. "Hm, let's hope whatever it is that you both saw doesn't get hungry or see us as a menace if we cross paths with it."
Shad looks at Qinfaren. "You're right," he says. "One less fear! No water to worry about. I am looking forward to that!"
Shad will look out into the waves again. "And whatever we are seeing in the bay belongs here. I'm sure it won't follow us in to the deeper water between here and Fireshear." He looks along the railing, looking for the three scratch marks. "We haven't been gone long. I wonder how much they have been able to rebuild?"
Arogna has left the railing and is now sitting with her back against a nearby stack of crates. Her eyes are closed and she is breathing in the sea air. She scowls briefly when Shad mentions the blacksmith, but other than that, she looks like she is just keeping quiet, perhaps in the hope that her employer the Parcelmaster will not notice her incapacity.
Qinfaren looks out to sea and sees a whale surfacing some distance away from the Icebreaker.
Not long after your first board the ship from Aurilssbarg, you depart the port and are sailing back southeast to Fireshear. A small town you had only visited a few days prior. Now returning there you are certain whether the people there would treat you as heroes for having defeated the mephits, or as villains for having at least warned Griggle Duskloch to escape their justice. Nevertheless, under the instruction of your parcel master, the man who hired you so that you can journey north, your return there so that you can continue your journey.
An hour or so after leaving the Ice Peak, you find yourselves standing on the deck of the Icebreaker, gazing eastward over the fog-shrouded frigid sea until it reaches the distant mountains on the horizon. The peace of the misty morning is broken by a shout from the crow’s nest. “Captain!” the sailor cries. “Something’s headed right toward us from the stern, moving fast. It’s an intercept course!”

Arogna heaves herself to her feet, and curses miserably in the orc tongue. "Hang on!" she calls to the group, and looks around for a rope or other fixing towards the centre of the deck that she can grab on to. If she finds one, she will do that. If not, she will try to get to a mast. Investigation 7

When he sees the whale, Shad's mouth drops open wide. "Cat Lord," he says. "I am both suddenly hungry and terrified at the same time."
When he hears something is trying to intercept the ship, Shad panics. He dashes to the rail to look for himself (Perception: 13), but realizes he's moved closer to the water, not a place he wants to be. As he examines the waves, he turns his lower body toward the center of the ship, so he can dash back against the main mast. He plans to take Arogna's advice and grip the center of the ship.

Qinfaren looks over at the others and then back to Parcelmaster Bassk.
"The Parcelmaster looks troubled," Qinfaren says. "And he was not happy to begin with. I do not think the stress of his job is good for him."
Qinfaren approaches the railing next to Bassk and looks out at the horizon.
"Is there something wrong, Parcelmaster?" Qinfaren asks.
As Qinfaren approaches the Parcelmaster, he turns around, "I'm sure I saw something in the water just now. Something huge, but then it disappeared."

Arogna goes over to the railing and clutches it tightly, leaning over. It is possible that she is there to look for sea monsters.
Perception 5
Both Shad and Aorgna look out to sea hoping to catch a glimpse at whatever Bask happened to have seen.
"You happened to have seen something huge in the sea before as well? I'm sure its nothing plenty of huge creatures in the sea."

Qinfaren also looks out at the water, not knowing what they're looking for but guessing large is large and he'll see it if it's there.
"Could something very large come this close to port?" he asks. "Where I come from, most animals stay away from villages."

Qinfaren watches the water for a moment longer than sighs and turns to Shad.
"At least we'll be getting off this ship and heading overland," Qinfaren says. "That's got to be something you're looking forward too."
He looks back out over the water.
"I don't know what I'm looking for. It all looks big and grim to me."
