The Forge of Fury

For the time being, the great lizard takes no further notice of you as he messily and voraciously consumes his lunch.

The ground is littered with trash and detritus. If you'd like, you can spend an action making a Perception check to rifle through it.

Lana looks at the ruby and picks it up "this will fetch a nice price" she told them. "This chest looks pretty battered and well could be quite heavy to move out, Bel you and I could carry it but I would rather just fill what we want and leave the rest for now" she said looking around for the others.

Bel nods his head in agreement and grabs 400 sp, placing them in his pack.

Lana grabs her coin purse and fills it with Silver Pieces (300 if that's ok) and places that and the ruby in her pack. Looking over to Spirit and nods to bel as she moves back over.

Bel follows behind Lana and her cat.

As Bel and Lana finish filling their pouches with silver, GB sees the monster down in the hole swallow a large portion of lizard meat, and then cast its yellow eyes up to the fast-moving Bel & Lana 30 feet above. It coils as if to jump, swinging its scaly tail in anticipation.

Aregarak, do you still have a torch out?

// Sure - we'll say I have one since I'm blind without it down here //

GB—as the huge lizard below you moves, you can see two iron chests below, just behind the monster. One is open, and its contents glisten in the dull torchlight.

Aregarak, you sense someone just nearby...very close, just to your right. The smell is suddenly noxious, like the Troglodytes earlier. You see nothing, but you can hear the padding of feet, like something unseen is trying to skirt around you.

Bel and Lana, please make a Strength or Dexterity check to get back across the room. 

Lana walks towards Spirit who had stayed on the door side of the room while her and Bel went for the treasure. She was being cautious and careful not to step to close to the pit. She had once already almost fallen in there.

GB looks at the treasure and shows little interest in it for the risk.  He dose fly over the chest with Bel and Lana and pocket some drinking money for the trouble before flying back over to Aregarak.  

GB sees Bel begin to fall and wants to react in an heroic fashion.
