Lana looks at the woman "We wish to go the northern halls, what should be aware of there" she asks

"Good choice," the female duergar smiles as she sits on the spartan stone bench in the middle of the room. "The doors north lead to undead and cursed magic. The undead are bound to their rooms, and do not enter this area. You will also find a way down to the lower levels, and the black lake, where lives the dragon." 

She sits back against the bench and says, "You are welcome to explore through either north door, but you may not pass through to the east or south east," she motions towards each door. "The southwest door is open to you, if you would like to explore further."

GB whispers to Lana "GB thinks you should ask why the East and South or off limits?"

Lana nods at GB and looks back to the woman "Why are the East and South off limits" she asks.

The dwarf-like woman leans forward in her seat and holds out her hand to you, palm cupped upward. She says nothing, but locks her milky eyes on yours, and waits.

Influstration Bel walks over and dumps a handful of silver coins in her hand ( we’ll say 50 for tracking)

She catches the silver in her hands and thumbs through it briefly. "Bladeworks and chambers. It is our workshop and living spaces. Off-limits because we like our privacy." 

"You have weapons or armor of high quality you wish to trade" she asks.

 The gray dwarf considers these words. “We don’t know you well enough, upwolder,” she says in Undercommon. “If you have more questions, the answers are here for sale. Otherwise, go about your business and leave us in peace.”

The dwarf then waves dismissively.

“Ok everyone” Bel says “where to now?”

Aregarak heads to the north doors, opens them and heads through them.

// The north doors to the left or right? //

 // Um - how about right? //

Bel walks up behind the big guy “Let’s take this slow. If there are undead, well I don’t have any good way to fight them” 

The gray dwarf nods towards you as you depart.

The door on the right opens into a large chamber with a dark pool in the center. Bits of smashed furniture and other debris are scattered about the floor. Hallways lead off to the east and the west.

A weird moaning fills the area, slowly becoming recognizable as Dwarvish curses. The sound rises to angry shouting and grows closer.

“I don’t like this guys” as Bel tries to peer through the darkness with his dark vision.
