Kaluma nods to the Halfling and Dwarves. The cultists are not aware of them. There is no other enemy nearby. Looks Tymora is smiling at them this time.
To Lord Vitre
"I don't want put the family at risk. If you can reach them from here. Please cast the spell now"
To Gavoi
"You are right. We need to capture at least one of them alive. There are so many things we need to ask. Please prepare your spell in case something interrupts Lord Vitre……"
Before anything can happen Vitre's sleep spell drops down upon the group of four. Instantly two of the dragon masked cultists drop into a magical slumber, the lone kobold following after them. The third looks around, suddenly, and catches sight of the group just on the other end of the road. He pursed his lips, eyes narrowed, and has the chance to get to his feet, surrounded by his unconscious comrades.
Off to the side, along the brush and the trees of the road, Linan has quickly tugged her family into the foliage, breath heavy.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pardot quietly heads off with the family into the brush, keeping an eye out for other dangers. ((23)) There, hoping to distract the children from the danger, he reaches down and picks up a small flower bud, and holding it in front of the children it suddenly blooms.
Kaluma starts to run at same time the cultists falling asleep. The eldritch energy is already dwelling in her palm. She sees her friends attacking the only conscious enemy. If he dies, Kaluma will send the energy to the sleeping Kobold. If the cultist still alive? The he will be the one who taste her spell.
Asleep: Cultists A, Cultist B, Kobold Injured: Cultist C
The image of snake fangs has the cultist jerking back in surprise, the flinch visible in the full body shudder that caused them to stumble, a hiss and a groan from their lips as they grasp at their head. It is enough to distract them from Baerdin's attack, allowing the dwarf to smack them in the middle of their chest and fling them back two steps. The cultist grunts and grits their teeth, visible in a parody sort of grin as Kaluma's follow up attack of eldritch energy is flung right after the hammer, smacking once more into the chest of the cultist who in response now bears their teeth and growls. Blood dribbles down from their nose, into their teeth, and they twist to slash their scimitar at Baerdin, being the closest to have landed a hit so far.
Attack: 21 Damage: 2 to Baerdin from Cultist.
Next in turn order: Galdrum, Gavoi and then will go back to top of the round if cultist is not defeated. I will inform if Cultist is defeated and combat ends.
Gavoi watches the cultist still trying to defend himself surrounded by his allies and he simply had enough of this. Ceasing his flow of magic and marching toward him, he'd make a big wind-up and swing his staff across the head of the cultist.
Roll to hit the cultist with the staff: 10 If hit: 4
Kalumawas shocked to see her blast barely knocked back the cultist. Her power is so weak that it cannot compare to the time when she was under magical madness.
Grinding teeth, Kaluma grabs the enchanted rapier. She hears a mocking voice in her head. As soon as the black blade leaves its den, it leaps to the sleeping Kobold like a hungry serpent.

Gavoi, seeing Kaluma attempt to slay the sleeping Kobold before them, only to meet the ground beside the tiny dragonkin with a strange ticking sound in the distance. Exhaling through his nose in frustration, he'd march over beside the kobold and before the tiefling and reach over in attempt to shove her to the ground with authority, staff simply at his side.
"You best keep yourself under control, least you insult me." Gavoi may have been the runt of his heard, but he had humility and respect to him. If successful, Gavoi would step forward between her and the kobold.
Pixal is diligent in following Vitre's command. A nuisance is made as Pixal beats wings and scrapes talons close enough to distract the cultist with a flyby of danger, enough that Vitre's dagger isn't even registered as he slips it up between the ribs and twists. Half a beat later and the cultist crumbles to the ground, dead, atop a bag that the group had been pouring over. The bag inside is filled with what looks like looted items from the nearby household, bits and bobs and pieces worth a decent penny that belonged to the villagers of Greenest. A quick look through the materials allows for a snap appraisal of maybe forty gold worth in looted items from the houses and businesses nearby.
In the brush Linan breathes a sigh of relief and ushers her children, with the help of Cuth, over the bridge and past the dead body. She lets out a shriek of surprise when Kaluma jerks forward with blade, suddenly, aiming for a slumbering Kobold. At first it looks like Kaluma is going to hit the kobold, but then there is a soft sound, like the ticking of a clock, and the blade misses and slams into the dirt instead. Despite being small for a Golaith, Gavoi has a stern continence as he rushes forward toward Kaluma, enough to force Linan to scramble back with her kids who each let out slight shrieks of surprise.
Gavoi shoves Kaluma back sharply, her blade still out. There is a moment of tense silence before Linan cautiously approaches the group.
"What--" she swallowed heavily, and then shakes her head. "Nevermind. Can we move on?" She looks at each of you in turn before pushing onwards with her words as if she had gained an agreement before anyone can say anything. "The keep is just up the road here. See the cross section? We take a right there, and it's about five to ten minutes to the keep." Two houses dot either side of the road before it hits the crossway, roughly a good hundred feet or so ahead. Fires litter the sides of the streets--things like hay or small wooden bits of debris that have been lit up by the cultists as they pass through. Thankfully it looks like none of the fires have actually gotten to the houses--or, perhaps even more likely, the houses are better built to withstand a potential flame nearby.
Kaluma shakes her head. Looking down her rapier then looking at Gavoi.
"You are a honorable man…… but we must incapacitate these beast before they awake. Leave them alive they will hurt innocent people! The people like Linan!"

Baerdin looking awkwardly at the others display “ Well now what do you say we get this family to safety” keeping a wary eye on Kaluma.
*Gavoi would nod toward Baerdin, still keeping an eye on the tiefling*
"We should bring the bag to the keep, for future repairs toward the town after this attack, yes?"
Kaluma shakes her head. Looking down her rapier then looking at Gavoi.
