Kraven moves over to Mist, "Not sure we can trust one such as that, but if what it says is true, we might want to enter this library of souls and shatter everything there. In confusion, able to make our escape."
Varlan looks between the stoic and forthright dwarf, and the mercurial imp. It is unclear if having the imp free to do what it wants is a good idea, but he nods to skeletal dwarf. "Glerm has earned his place and our trust," he says. "But we should free as many as we can, starting with the imp. They, too, have helped us."
"Well fine, I'll just go and have some fun!" and with that the Imp vanishes and you hear her going the way you came.
"I thank you for the friendship." Glerm takes a short bow.
In this room there are two more doors, you entered the room from the east end of the north east corner, directly next to it is another door, and then there is a door is in the center of the south wall. Which way do you all want to go?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven will hop over to the South well and lean his head against it and listen for anything behind it and then check to see if it is locked or trapped.
Perception: 17
Then after a few moments he will hop on over to the other door and repeat the process after which he will report what he heard.
The door swings outward and reveals a private study. A portrait of a young mage hangs on the wall, but a green skull has been painted over the man’s face, leaving most of his features unrecognizable. This room has dim light from lit candles atop a small reading desk, which appear to never lose their wax. A podium bearing a red leather-bound book stands in the southwest corner. Atop the desk is another book, this one covered with blue leather, resting on a silk cloth. In the corner of the northwest wall, a broom is propped up.
You do notice the broom has arcane inscriptions on it.
Jecob: "Be careful with that broom. I've heard a tale of a sorcerer's apprentice, who activated a magic cleaning broom. It flooded the room with buckets of soapy water before it could be turned off."

Kraven looks at Jecob quizzically, "How could a magic broom fill a room with water? Mop maybe but a broom?" Kraven moves over to the desk to see if any of the drawers are locked.
Perception: 18
And if nay of them are, he will unlocked them.

Varlen nods, "My thinking exactly. Probably won't get to break many of them. Perhaps take a few with us as well, to break as we move."
Sorry for the delay, real life got busy. Which NPC do you wish to take with us? Glerm or the Imp.

Kuatho would vote to take Glerm with us.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(Yeah Glerm. Tuk doesn't like imps.)

I vote Glerm as well.

Varlan watches as the imp moves off. "Give them hell," he says with a smile.
North east door, is a locked iron door, and you hear nothing on the other side of it.
South door you hear some soft sounds almost like wind, that starts and stops.

Relaying the info to the group Kraven asks, "Which way we going, though I will have to try and open that locked door there."
Varlan nods, "Yes. Check the locked door."
(( @DM: Are we able to find/gather/destroy any crystals? ))
Kraven moves back to the locked door and will try and unlock it.

"Always interested in seeing what's behind locked doors," Mist quips. "That said," he looks to Kuatho. "You want to go first?" He smiles and winks.

Varlan resists the urge to examine book and broom, wary of traps. "Now this looks interesting!"
He glances at Kraven, waiting for him to give the all-clear, but searches nearby for anything threatening or unusual.
Investigation: 11
You find 0 traps.
You do notice the broom has arcane inscriptions on it.
You are also getting a feeling about the books.
