Jecob waits for the others to decide on Kraven's suggestion. He is more than happy to rush in and bash a skeletal wolf, but he doesn't know if someone else wants to take the lead, or maybe there is some reason why the group shouldn't do that. (He can't think of any reason, but he doesn't consider himself a philosopher.)

Being uncertain why a skeletal wolf should be a threat, and seeing everyone preparing to fight, Varlan draws a deep breath and rushes into the room as electricity ripples over his gauntlets. He strikes twice at the undead creature.
With the 3 quick pops the wolf is down. The 2 skeletons speak up "Thank you so much for killing him! Kalvikodas has punished us by leaving enough of our old self in these dead bodies so that the wolf can come and take us bone by bone, there were 4 when we first started, please free us from this hell!"
Varlan looks up from the fallen wolf, facing the skeletons. "And how are we to free you? Are there crystals of some kind? Or...do you mean we should unbind you?"
(( If the latter, Varlan will help anyone who attempts to unlock them ))
As they work, he looks around then asks, "Do you know the quickest way out of here?"

Kraven will move over to where the wolf was laying down and gather what bones he can see and anything else that catches his eye. Then he will move over to Varlan dropping what bones he has at the feet of the locked up skeletons. Then look over Varlans shoulder and hell him unlock the skeletons.
"Kalvikodas’ main hall is through these doors. I'm not sure how much help we would be, but if you release us from these bindings we will do what we can to help and by all means if you find our crystals let's smash them."

Kraven acknowledges Varlan with a bob of his head and moves towards the skeletons to unlock them. On his way he tosses the wand to Varlan, "Might have more use for this, some kind of magical wand."
Easy enough to pick the two pick up scrap bones and put themselves back together the best that they can.
Up a short flight of stairs, and then through a door, and you have entered a grand chamber.
20 ft.- high ceilings of ribbed sinew and cartilage. Four pillars of bone support the ceiling. The walls are adorned with tapestries depicting bewildering scenes, including: Giant’s Spur under construction by storm giants, an enormous demonic crocodile destroying coastal cities, a red and gold dragon preceding over a council of dragons in the clouds, and a celestial theater with gods deciding the fates of mortals. One of these tapestries depicts the lich himself stabbing a great icicle into the heart of a sea monster. Both the ice spear and sea monster are the same color of green - a color which matches the green aura permeating the Leviathan.
At the back of the room sits a large, multi-tiered cabinet that holds numerous crystals of different shapes and colors. Each crystal glows with a different color, and emanates its own unique hum or sigh, filling the chamber with a discordant melody.
Between you and the cabinet are 3 figures, 2 are familiar, they being the the Archimandrite who floats in the air before Kalvikodas, who is the second figure. Lastly is a marilith, but she is not really alive any more. Her skin grey, and lose flesh and meat missing in different areas, the necrotic green light coming from her eyes and mouth. She is bearing four longswords. The star fragment has been embedded in its skull at the center of its forehead
Kalvikodas is seated in a high-back chair carved from the bones of various creatures. He holds a glass of blood-red wine and regards the Archimandrite. The lich is questioning the Archimandrite on their similar views regarding the relativity of good and evil. He greets you with feigned surprise.
“Oh-ho-ho! You made it after all! Well done, friends! You'll be the perfect fit as my new personal guards! Your ranking and shield size will be determined by how long you last against my current companion and protector.”
Kuatho points his antennae at Kalvikodas and says “Why … why would we want to do that? Just set us free, we need to be exploring! This game you have us playing, it is …. How do you say? Inextxiktik … pointless.”

Varlan's gaze is drawn to the cabinet, then back to the marilith. With his head turned away from Kalvikodas, he faces his companions and his eyes jerk in the direction of the crystals that it contains. "There may be a way to shorten the fight," he whispers.
"A game," Kalvikodas pauses to laugh, "It's good to know you are having fun here with me! And it is not pointless, I like testing my servants." he transitions from happy laughter to a dark creapy voice.
Varlan make a stealth chack, don't worry about the disadvantage because your armor would not have anything to do with this check.
