"I am most pleased to meet all of you" says the tall, lanky humanoid cat "I am Cool Breeze over the Mountains of the Clan Distant Rain, but you can call me "Cool'. My people are nomadic and of these last several years I have served as a sailor, but in the years of my life and the many wonders I have seen, they pale beside the ship we now serve and crewmates I serve with". He doffs his cap, spreads his arms wide and bows.
Baraka raises his eyebrows and introduces himself to the new cat, "Baraka, it's nice to meet you." He feels a bit out of place with two legged cats and talking machines around, but at least everyone appears to be nice enough.

Looking up from his conversation with Isaac, Spaerin bows back to cool. "Well meet cool, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Spaerin Lyrander, I fully agree this is a incredible ship. I have been on airships since I was ten years old, but never have I seen one with out a elemental ring for power."
Baraka is a bit taken aback by the hug, but he pats the cat's shoulder and tries to wrest himself free as he his glaive is jabbing into his side a little. Continuing on he asks, "Are you always this enthusiastic?"

Janor, a lithe half-elf with a floppy hat, slips in and quietly finds a bunk. He keeps his back turned for a moment, securing his few possessions before easing himself into his hammock and observing the conversation. He notes the various introductions - the towering cat, Cool, the armored warforged ISAAC, the airshipman and fellow elf-kin, Spaerin, and the two human women, Kathrine and Yll. He sits up slightly, alert and a little amused by the gregarious Cool, but doesn't yet participate in the conversation. He is long accustomed to keeping his own company, so merely being around others is, for the time being, enough.
Karogur spends his time wandering the ship, familiarizing himself with the decks and stations. He spends a fair amount of time watching the helm, just marveling at it.
When he’s done, he’ll keep wandering but stop to listen to conversations as he comes across them.
Karogur roams the ship. It's a rather large one and it's bustling with activities as the crew prepares for departure.

Cain and Clarisse don't see eye to eye. Seems they were on opposite side in the Great War.
The Captain and Nino go a long way.
Just as the bell rings again, announcing it's time for your meeting with the Captain the boat starts to move.
It doesn't rock and sway as it would in the water but the sudden pressure in the air tells you that it's going up.
For all:
Some of you have already used the airships. It's a common but expensive way to travel throughout the world. Unlike this ship, they all have rings of power or contained elementals powering them. It's for you to decide if t's your first experience or not on an airship.
On the deck, you can feel the rush of air and see the land becoming smaller. Nino is smiling and greets you all warmly. He seems in a good mood now that the Blade is finally underway.
"Enjoy the view and this feeling. The captain is a bit late and for that he is sorry."
Cain stands tall, shouting curt orders a watching that all the proceedings are being handled correctly.
"It is his turn to feel the pressure. " The halfling jests.
Yll pipes up, joining the airship conversation “me either - no elemental power, isn’t it fascinating? I’m a shipsmith as well as an an artificer, and this is a really incredible design. I’m hoping the Captain will allow me to get familiar with the construction when we get under way”
As the bell sounds Kathrine nods and follows the others up to their appointed meeting place. She decides she is likely to never get use to the motion of one of these ships, but at least this is not her first time aboard.
"I am sure the captain is a busy person just now." Kathrine says with a smile. "We have no problem waiting for him to finish up."
Cool scrambles 10 to 15 feet up any suitable, near-by structure for a better view, wide-eyed and fascinated. "This is only my second time on such a ship as this. It is incredible!"
Baraka has been on an airship before, but the experience is still exhilarating and while he enjoys the thrill of a ship first taking off, it is even more fun to watch others who have never been on an airship before and their reactions. Watching Cool scramble to get a better view, Baraka smiles and just waits patiently for the captain.

Therne wobbles and rushes over to the nearest bolted down rail he can get his arms around. The little halfling hugs it and smiles at the others. "I... um.. it's my first time flying. My legs seem a little weak, ha ha. I'm sure I'll get use to it."
Baraka extends an arm to the wobbly doctor and helps keep him steady on the ship until he regains his bearings. He affirms the doctor's statement that he will get used to it., "You will. It just takes time."

Yll weighs up the pros and cons of disturbing the crew with questions, but launch is always a risky time, even if this ship moves like a well-oiled machine. Instead, she takes a seat at the rail and watches the ship work, paying no attention to the view.
Therne takes the extended hand with an offer of thanks. Baraka would notice that the haflings grip is actually quite weak and should there have been turbulence, he may not have been able to hold on.

Spaerin nods to Baraka, and smiles down at Therne. "Baraka is right, you will get used to it."
Spaerin heads to the deck to watch the ship disembark. This is the best time of the adventure, everything is fresh and new, and full of potential.
Karogur follows Spaerin up to see the departure.
