Baraka, who has remained silent and towards the back of the group speaks up. "I'll go with whichever group has more people that prefer to stay near the back during a fight. It will be the place that I am most useful."

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
Spaerin chimes in "thanks to the silver flame I can both cast healing, and offensive magic. I can talk my way out of most situations. I am more curious about who is following us so if I may I would rather be in group two."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Cool Insight: 18 Looks intently at Karogur. “I have heard of those who, through meditation and discipline, harness the energy flowing through their bodies to achieve wonders. I have always been fascinated by such stories. If we have time later and you, my friend, have the patients, I would love to hear more about it.”
Nino looks back at the group and nods his thanks at their willingness to go into the mission without too many questions.
"For the first group, I think Karogur, Yll and Therne will be enough. It should be a simple and easy task but it would be better to be ready for anything. "
"For the second group, the others will manage to draw attention, and if things turn ugly help each other. "
He turns to the one he chose for the first group.
"You will need to go to the High Tower using a flying coach, " he hands over a ring with a feather sigil, " Use this to pay for your way in and out. You need to go to the Candle, a shop that is a front for the Kundarak. You ll need to talk to a dwarf called Arvin. Everything has been arranged. He will give you the spell."He looks for questions, " Be back as quickly as you can and be safe."
"For the second group, you'll need to go to the University and ask for Karl Setiss. He knows you are coming. You need to go to the C building and then on the 2nd floor. There will be a dossier for you to take. Take it and leave. Be aware that you will probably be walking into a trap." he says apologetically.
"Get ready, we should be arriving in an hour. From the time we touch the harbor, you ll be on the clock."
"I am ready!" Cool says excitedly. "We should decide who takes possession of the dossier. Perhaps someone less capable of fighting and more capable of disappearing and making their way back to the ship quickly while the rest of us cover their escape and determine the identities of our attackers?"
"That would be me, I'm afraid. I'm a fair shot with a crossbow, but won't be of much further assistance in a fracas. Let's see..." Janor focuses for a moment, his eyes watching a far horizon. His clothes seem to flow outward and darken, coarse fabric turning smooth in rich colors. Newly attired in an illusory silk doublet covered with dark, drab robes, along with matching pantaloons and expensive-looking boots, Janor tops off the illusion with a black wig, making him look like he is compensating for early grey hairs, and an old-fashioned tricorne with gold-lace embroidery. Any who stare closely at it will soon discern certain inconsistencies - the shadow cast by his floppy hat does not quite align with the visual presented by the tricorne, the doublet and robes don't quite make the right academical "rustle" that one might expect, but, at a passing glance, Janor might hopefully pass for a graduate student, harried and stressed at the prospect of teaching classes in subjects for which he has the barest accreditation. He grins and does a little spin, testing the potency of the illusion.
Kathrine nods her acceptance of the assignment. "I will aid as I can, though I am not really made for quick escapes or deceptions." She shrugs though, ready to go with the others.
Spinning his glaive in his hands Baraka smiles and gives an acknowledgment of the task. "I can aid whoever is dropping the dossier and perhaps hold the ambush off for long enough for everyone else to escape. I also think that we might be better served to scout the location before we go in for the drop. Does anybody have the ability to sneak around and take a look around without being noticed?" He is talking primarily to the people that have been assigned to Group 2 as it appears that they are splitting up for now.

"Baraka! We shall fight together to make sure everyone gets to safety! You can count on my sword by your side! Also, my people are known for being able to move unseen!"
Baraka nods, "If you can move around silently, then perhaps it would be smart for you to check out the University first to maybe give us a heads up as to where the ambush could be coming from."

Therne listens intently as he hears the instructions. More to himself than anyone else he whispers, "The Candle in front of Kundarak, Arvin the dwarf." He repeats it a few times to make sure he's got it stowed away in his memory. Looking up he'll wait his turn and reach out for the sigel. "We'll make sure to see this done, sir."
Cool nods enthusiastically to Baraka. "Certainly. I am anxious to get a look at the building. I am hoping for very high ceilings and large windows. My experience is that nearly all races have this odd blind-spot, scanning sharply a full 360 degrees around them and yet never looking up. One can silently watch from a high and shadowed perch, everything going on with little chance of discovery."

Karogur puts a hand on Therne’s shoulder, and nods, ready to follow his lead towards The Candle.
As the group gets ready the ship gets closer to Sharn.
There is an exchange of light signal from one of the towers and fluidly the Blade glides towards it. The ship lazily navigates through the traffic of flying coaches and other massive embarkations finally docking into its appointed place.
All around the ship, the crew is getting ready to speed things up. Several of them are already gathering empty casks on the deck ready for refilling. It is clear that the need for speed has been explained to the crew and that they take their orders seriously.
Nino moves between your two groups impressed with their readiness.
"The captain told me to extend his appreciations. " he nods to himself " and I would like to personally thank you for staying on board. We will need your help."
With that, he hands a ring - there a small galloping horse on it -, a letter and a pouch of coins.
"The ring is for the coach waiting for you at the end of the pier. Ask to go to the LittleRed quarter in the High Rise. The letter is for your meeting. Give it to the Kundarak waiting in the Candle. The gold is for you to keep in case of emergency."
He turns toward Spaerin, giving him, the same-looking ring and a badge. It looks like a book on fire.
" The ring you know how to use, ask to go the Uni Kov" he says with a smile " and the badge lets you enter the University. Show it if anyone asks questions. You might raise a few eyebrows the lot of you."
He gives you a bag of coins too. "Not sure you'll be needing this but it's only fair you get one too. Be careful and don't take unnecessary risks. We want to know who not lose you."
For Spaerin
With your ties to the Lyrandar family, you are used to these rings and know that they are in fact contracts with the Coach Guild in Sharn
For all:
For the missions can you signal what group you are in as you write your posts Group 1 and Group 2, please?
Karogur will hold the ring, and letter out to Yll and Therne. “I’m sure one of you knows the niceties of the city better than I do. Perhaps you could handle this part?”
Kathrine nods as she follows the others off of the ship. "I have not been here before, so can someone more aquainted with the city take the lead?" She asks as she pushes dark chestnut hair behind an ear. The symbol of the silver flame is proudly displayed on the breast of her scale mail, and the silver arrowhead sways as she walks, on its chain around her neck.
Baraka gives an acknowledgement to Nino and replies to Kathrine, "I have some familiarity with the city. I do not mind taking the lead." With that, he double checks his glaive's sharpness and gets ready to disembark.
