A large hulking mass begins to emerge from the lava. An elongated head with upward curving tusks the length of sword blades shakes off a spatter of molten stone. Cloven feet pull the craggy skinned creature out of the river. Standing 10 feet high on four thick legs, the monstrosity's skin rough and glowing with heat. It lets out a thunderous shriek in challenge to Toots' communication.

OOC: The way I look at it, if it isn’t attacking us, then Toots can just keep yammering on. No problemo, right? But if we attack it, or she runs away, then that might provoke it to do something it isn’t doing… like charging Toots. And if it charges Toots, then it was gonna anyway, so at least we know it was openly hostile instead of another poor trapped soul like Layla; 9; Huey, Dewey, & Louie; Santa, and maybe even Sargasso (even if his name was suspicious AF). 🤷♂️
OOC: Wait, Toots was based on 3P0, at least functionally? I think Tyler Vail is "holding the line" upon which Toots stands, if we cross it, it's on. So Tommary could upcast invisibility if Ily wanted to take part in the caper and Ely can provide a firm martial response to pull Toots out of the pig iron fire if it comes to that, doing so would blow my shot at a 9d8 sleeper hold on the most metal monster we've met yet, what you all think?

OOC: Toots is about 25' from the door, the sphere with protontorpedo is 100' away from the door, end of the bridge. I'm presuming since it was initially lurking at the halfway point and has climbed the bridge to be before Toots, Tyler Vail is 30-35' away from the door. Toots and protontorpedo positions verified by posts. Tyler Vail is an estimate.

OOC @ Midnight: Kinda like if the White Queen from The Hellfire Club had had her heel-face turn when she was still young enough to have some of her innocence left, or if she’d had a de-Agee ray whammy her and she went back to pre-supervillain days, but kept her powers.
