OOC: Yeah, but this would be twice cooked fish, right?  I thought the pro-team press cooked the fish as part of the process.  This is putting a cooked fish into a process that wlll cook a fish ... at minimum some goblin minds may be blown.

Frank leaves for a bit and comes back with a vampire fish sucking on his arm. He passes out before Fritz and George take a stabbing to the fish. Franks wounds are staunched with rags and bits of proteam bar.

I was surprised too, I thought they chucked ‘em in the machine whole. 🤷‍♂️

The waxy wall turns out to be about 2 inches thick. You clear a hole opening into a hexagonal shaped space 5 feet wide and 10 feet deep. 

The end of the chamber is open and lying on the bottom is a three foot long grub.

You hear the droning sound of many wings and see in the distance (30-ish feet) a wall of giant sized honeycomb.

"Hmmm, if that be the baby bee, we be in possible big bee trouble; and what colony would put its young on the hive exterior, savages!"

“What are you talking about? What do you see over there?”

"A veritable bee octagon*, Toots, you and Ily ought to get over here, I'm not gonna ditch Rosso and Ely against pending stingers!"

*OOC yeah, Tommary knows just enough geometry to get confused.  He thinks octagon means simply many sided cool chamber you fight in, do not allow him near a tesseract.

“Gross, c’mon Ily, looks like we gotta go back in the drink again.”

Toots swims across careful to keep her hair out of the water and upon reaching the other side immediately begins cleaning herself and everything else within range to the best of her ability.

When she’s done cleaning everyone, toots turns to the others and asks: “Should I whistle a little light in there so we can see what we can see?”

As you wait, a bee of unusual size alights near the opening, it waves its antennae in your direction then turns to the grub.

The bee vomits up some fluid and feeds it to the grub, then flies away. 

“Whoa…. Big bee. I hope nobody’s allergic. At least they don’t seem aggressive.”

Without any input from anyone else Toots will in fact whistle up a light 30 feet into the apparent bee hive and see what she can see.

Tommary the Unworthy wields windbreaker like an epipen at the ready, "Hmmm, if these bees meant trouble I think Windbreaker here would be giving me a buzz too.  Maybee they bee nice?"

The added light shows more sealed and open chambers about 20 or so feet away. If you look out of this chamber you are in, you see wall to wall hexagons of wax. 

More bees of unusual size fly and crawl about wings constantly humming, tending to grubs, making deposits in other cells, clearing debris.

Taking a peek over the edge reveals a drop of about 20 feet with a glowing pool of possible honey at the bottom. Above, a passage of walls covered in cells twists and turns out of sight.

"...wow.  Those things're big enough their stings'd qualify as stab wounds to th' littler folk here," Ilyara mumbled.  "Maybe we wanna step real careful, try not to piss off the giant hive of BOUS's?  Like, keep well away from those grubs if we can..."

“You ain’t kidding. So… up or down? Or should we check out those other rooms we were gonna check first to see if there’s anywhere with fewer bees to explore first?”

While speaking, Toots sidles up next to Ely and holds her arm for comfort.
