Seeing the seeds crawling across her mage armor Toots shrieks “AHH!! Get off me!!” as she starts swatting them to the ground and frantically stomping on them. She then looks up and cat-like acts like nothing happened and nobody saw that. That’s when she noticed she was suddenly all alone facing two killer Jacks and deftly dodges their attacks with the aid of her mage armor. “Tommary!! Don’t leave me here all alone with these things!”

See how sick Ilyara is looking, and seeing the seeds under her skin, too, Elyona stands up, reaches over, lays her hands on Ilyara, and offers a blessing in Arvoreens name.  For a moment a grassy green light flickers of Ilyara's skin, and she can smell violets.  

OOC:  5 HP of lay on hands to rid Ilyara of the seed's poison.  If applicable, E will use her protection fighting style to impose disadvantage on one attack against Ilyara.  

The seeds seem to shrink and dissipate under Elyona's care. At the same time she feels the seed crawling under her own skin for 3 creeping damage.

The big jack notices the Paladins moment of distraction and roars!

Everybody DC 12 CHR save vs 12 Fear/Thunder damage, half damage on a save. No damage if immune to Fear.

Ilyara Charisma save: 10 Post incoming based on result.

Ilyara manages a slightly thready smile as the seeds dissolve and disappear.  "Thanks, Elyona," she said, quietly but with feeling, before turning to face their foe...a moment too late, the roar catching her off her guard.  Sound and terror washed over Ilyara, her fur bristling, her eyes briefly going hard...then glassy, before the furling slowly slumped down to one knee then over onto her side, Rilia clattering against the cavern floor.  Too much accumulated damage had left her disabled and at risk of demise.

Elyona sees Ilyara slump over; her anger explodes in an uncharacteristic burst of swear words, leaving no room for a response of feat to the thundering blast.  Still, her ears ring a bit from the sound...not to mention the effect numerous cuts and wounds were having on her focus.  

With cracks in its shell and orange juices leaking out, jack 6 moves with writhing vines over to Ilyara. It slides up to her shoulder, slides a limb around her arms then...

*Shluk* plants itself over her head like a helmet. It is fortunate that the girl is unconscious as the experience would be quite painful.

Tommary and Toots!

“Hey, get offa her head!” shouts Toots, swinging her lute in the air to drop the hammer again, this time on the pumpkin on Ily’s head: (Attack: 13 Damage: 12). 🤞🤞

Toots then targets the Jack closest to their guide and plays the most discordant sound she can on her lute. (It must make a DC 17 Int save or it takes 5 psychic damage.) 🤞🤞

Toots causes a portion of the small jack to rot, it looks like it is drooling blood.
