"Hey guys, that don't look right...somebody wanna poke that with a stick or somethin' 'fore I end up accidentally disintegrating a homeless starving waif or such?"
The solid object is revealed to be a skeletal foot. Toots continues to sing her song of cleansing and finds a humanoid skeleton, the skull has a pair of short horns above the eye sockets and sharp teeth. The being probably died because of, or with a severely broken leg.
The skeleton is naked but, there are bits of metal from buckles or clasps. There is also a wand and a tile similar to the one Tommary has but it is brown in color.

OOC: Technically tiffles can have a wide range of physical traits. The most common 5e versions do not have hooves though. Also I didn't think tieflings existed in this setting. Heh.
IC: "Ick. That leg looks rough. Can't 'a been fun when there was a bunch'a flesh wrapped around it. Looks like maybe another keycard thingus, though. Oiy Tallboots, you still doing that 'Keymaster' bit?"
Tommary swaps his "north" ward watch post with Ely to check out the discovery, "Hmmmm, maybe a Satyr?" then switches back with Ely resuming looking "north".
OOC: or he says that if Satyr's are in fact a species he'd be familiar with.

“I mean, I know Tieflings are just a made up thing that don’t really exist, but still… kinda looks like the stories from the children’s books.* Don’tcha think?”
*Tieflings are a fictional type of monstrous people depicted in the children’s tales written by the Sisters Glumm of Cliffside. They are predominantly cautionary tales for youngsters in which the Tieflings are often the antagonists that prey upon disobedient or unruly children.

OOC: Excuse you good sir. Despite their origin as seedy, unnatural Bogeymen swooping in to harvest Naughty Children, more modern tales based on the admittedly old-fashioned fables of the Sisters Glumm have painted a picture of an alluring, evocative people known for their charm, wit, panache, and cojones. The Sisters Glumm version is generally considered antiquated, though many older folk within the walls of Cliffside do tend to roll their eyes at the popularity of the Modern Tiefling with the younger demographic.
Don't mess with muh tiffles. DX. Anyways.
IC: "Well, whoever or whatever it was, it's a skellingbro now. Hopefully one what stays down. Sorry old pal," Ilyara said, patting the skeleton's undamaged knee with her undamaged hand. "Unless you were evil. Then not so sorry, I guess. Thanks for the keycard. We'll let ya get back t' sleep soonish here," she said, turning to face the eastern door and inspecting the lockplate for any signs of untowardity, nefariousness, ne'er-do-wellism, or just any sign of anything that seems more out of place than it should be.

It is heavy and black; it has a contoured handle designed to comfortably fit a human hand; there is a button near the thumb position; there seems to be a trap door on one end (palm side) and a small hole on the other end; it is magical.
Toots holds up the wand, fiddling with it and examining it from all sides. She looks into the whole and examines the trap door. “Does this look familiar? Do you know what it is? Neither do I…. It has a button on it. I wish to press it but I’m not sure what will happen if I do….”
