"Hardly my fault you lot can't see past yer own nose without a noonday sun," Ilyara replies, while nevertheless leaving off her cleaning duties to siddle up to the cracked-open door and see what she can see within the space beyond.  With Rilia ready to Non-Evil hand, just in case.

27 Perception.

Just beyond the door is a passageway that is 2 feet long and ends in volcanic rock. It appears that the passage is/was supposed to end there, not that it was filled with lava.

Ilyara continues her "sweep" towards the corner. Peering around the corner she sees....

More corridor!

“What was in there Ily, anything? Or at least anything worth grabbing at any rate?”

"Nah, didn't see much of anything 'cept a rock wall.  Looks like whoever built this place never finished whatever they were gonna put behind this door."

After moving up and sweeping away the Evil Space Fungus, Ilyara calls back to the others, "Oiy!  Looks like we got a fork a'sorts.  Big hallway ahead to th' right, or th' moldy hallway wraps around th' room with Big Lizzy in it.  Nothing immediately assaultin' me, what's the call?"

“Well, right or left guys? Any suggestions?”

"Think we should check th' other end of this corridor, just t' cover our bases.  That big stonkin' hallway looks like it's more of a deal than this place does, best scrape the walls and see if we can find anything useful.  Or at least a bolthole that doesn't have Big Lizzy in it."

“Sounds good to me, lead on lefty.”

Tommary the Unworthy nods assent, semi-absentmindedly as he focuses on trying to figure out which of his 90s Xmen style pouches the knocker dice are supposed to go back into.  Probably the boot ones.

Ilyara moves west and starts heading around the other bend, south towards the opposite side of Puzzle Room, clearing space fungus the whole while and keeping a wary ear out for any sound of impending assault.

You walk down the top corridor to find a flight of stairs going up which splits into stairs going in two directions.

Sweeping towards the corner reveals a mirror of the passage you came from. There is a small (maybe a foot long and high) rectangular mass in the middle of the corridor.

OOC: Looks like it’s time to play everyone’s favorite game: “loot crate or mimic.”
