"It seems that this Strahd fellow is not well liked around here" Durthon commens "could you tell us more details? We may be able to help, but we still do not know why is your daugther running away or where is she running to."
OOC: I'm sad to see DarthDrizzt go, but I undesrtand why. I'm willing to stay for a while longer, but I need a bit more description of places and NPC dialogue to truly enjoy the campaign.
(OOC: I wanted to echo the above... More description would be really helpful as this is supposed to a horror-esque setting and campaign and description is really key in making that stand out.)
Randall confirms Durthon's hypothesis that humans do, in fact, mature by 16. However, as they are a perfect example of, Randall knows that mistakes can still be made at that young age. To the woman, he adds, "A vampire is a bit stronger than we might be capable of taking out alone. Do you know of a place where we might be able to find an ally perhaps? Or even a place where we may test our skills?"

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
Thariv listens to the exchange, unsure of what to make of the tale. "You said you kept her inside,"he finally says. "Did she have her own room or a place where she kept things? If--and I do mean if--we're going to help you, maybe we can learn something about her and possibly about where she went if we take a look around. Can you show us around inside?"
((OOC: I'd agree that more atmosphere and description would improve the game. But I'm sticking here for now regardless.))
(OOC: Campaign closed... I assume that means the DM gave up... Sad.)
This woman not giving any information, Randall heads off to find some work in Barovia, and eventually manages to settle in. Their skills as an adventurer feel a little wasted, and they are still searching for a cure to their condition, but with no way to defeat Strahd and escape Barovia, they are trapped for the time being.

OOC: Ah well, another bites the dust, as they say. Maybe see y'all 'round the forum.
