"Gil works in information. What use does he have for fisherman... Unless..."
Cora stops for a moment, before continuing while pacing the room.
"I heard he joined forces with the Sea Princes. If that's true, they might be trying to gather a large workforce."
Cora stops and turns her attention to the guard.
"You won't tell them the coast is clear. Tell them y'all found some intruders. Tell them y'all lost a man but were able to capture them, and have them tied up down here."
Wulgar stops, contemplating the plan. "Ok Miss C. We'll go your way with this." He ties up the wrists of the unconscious guards. He searches the dead guard for any belongings of note. He hauls the body out of the way and hides it, then drags the unconscious guard to the hiding spot and props them up in a seated position. He looks for a way to tie them up with his rope, and makes sure that they are gagged. "Ready for the next step in the plan."

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The dead guard has a spear, leather armor, and 6 gold pieces on his person, that can be liberated if you so choose.
The guard in question being interrogated by Cora gives a shaky nod. "Y-yes, I'll do just that. T-then you won't ever see me around these parts again." A moment of hesitation, as he makes a gesture to the entrance, almost as if asking if he is free to leave.
Feel free to talk among yourselves as you plan out your course of action. If you all let him, the surrendered guard will leave to inform Gil unless there's anything else you need from him. Let me know if you're planning to make a strategy here in the cavernous passages, or back in town.

Wulgar gets into position where he can see anyone approaching but also has an escape route (if possible). He also takes a crossbow and 20 bolts from the cache, loads it and waits from his hiding place. He takes the 6 gold from the dead guard.

Ok with the plan. After he leaves, want to investigate all of the passages fully and find a good (different) hiding spot. ? Map perhaps?
