It's currently a warforged-only item. I thought I remembered some other magic item being created that functioned identically to an arm-blade but was available to all races, but that might have been a homebrew.

Thanks! It was the first time I ran across an Armblade while building my Orc Artificer and looking at the Infusion Replicate Magic Item. The Armblade sounded interesting, but I felt it was vague, indicating if it was Warforged only race. Still, I appreciate the feedback.

Yeah, that's technically not RAW, but definitely ask your DM. I played an Armorer artificer in a recent one-shot and they let me have an Armblade built into the armor (we each got one rare magic item for our level 6 characters, so I went with an Armblade Yklwa of Warning instead because it fit the whole "Willem Dafoe Green Goblin" vibe I was going for)
Making a weapon an Armblade isn't exactly overpowered since disarming happens so rarely anyway, so using an infusion slot on it seems pretty reasonable
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Active characters:
Carric Aquissar, elven wannabe artist in his deconstructionist period (Archfey warlock) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Mardan Ferres, elven private investigator obsessed with that one unsolved murder (Assassin rogue) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
Can any race or class allow to use an Armblade, or is it only restricted to a Warforged?

Yeah, I think they took Armblade off of the Replicate Magic Item table when they brought Artificer out of Eberron with TCE.

Prosthetic Limb exists, so even though technically not RAW, I think it would be an easy argument to allow a character with one to equip an armblade
