I found out that I was given up by my parents two days after I was born because they found a dead spider in my crib.  Apparently, Llolth would not have been pleased.   Thankfully, the nuns at the orphanage treated me with dignity, which makes them the only ones that have.  

I used to be a pearl diver off the coasts of Ishtara, I could hold my breath for three minutes and collected many pearls. I also had to defend my pearls from pirates or thieves from time to time, and got pretty darned good with a knife and my harpoons. Now I wish to see the world on land for a bit and enjoy some dry adventures, and I hope to use my skills and my toughness to see me through.

Now I travel the world seeking out those material compoenents that are a little "gruesome" to acquire but if you want to cast that fireball I can supply you with the bat guano and sulfur and if components are'nt your thing then maybe I can aquire a spell focus for you, no questions asked. I'm no mercenary, I'm just in the business of components and magical nick nacks.

I was born with a destiny, a destiny to become powerful enough to solo a 400-strong army of strong, veteran soldiers and wield a powerful weapon. And yet, now I find myself struggling to fulfill that destiny. I belong to what remains of the infamous Grey Wolf tribe, all but destroyed long ago by so-called "holy" crusaders of the moon goddess Selune. My scattered kin have recently felt the call of our ancestral totem for the first time in centuries. The totem's call has once again cursed my kin with a savage form of lycanthropy, threatening us with exposure and destruction, and so the elder has tasked me with tracking down and destroying this cursed artifact once and for all.

I lived with no fear of death, for in death I would serve as I did in life. My Oath binds me and even though my form died long ago I shall not rest until my armour sunders and my weapon breaks. Some may call me a Death Knight but I am no foul undead abomination, I am will and motivation given form and substance and I will crush evil and snuff it from existence.

*Haunted One for background, Warforged for race, Oath of Conquest Paladin for class. roleplay in a Death Knight style but with a bit more of a slant towards lthe light and being very anti-evil. Warforged is jsut for the abilities (such as being able to rest without having to remove your armour which is very useful) and helps create the image of being a suit of armour animated by an unrelentling desire to uphold the Oath they swore when they were still alive. Is ther a body under the armour? Who knows, you're not likely to be disrobing any time soon.

When the queen banished me from the kingdom for… uh… fraternizing with her daughter. At first I was heartbroken, but at least she didn’t have me executed, probably because I’m a woman. At any rate, now I’m taking my skills of guile and flattery, my talents with the lute and lyre, my knack for picking things up quickly and a little magic I picked up along the way and I’m making a name for myself. Who knows how many more maidens I’ll get to woo? Things might not be so bad after all.
