Runaway prankster hates his parents because they want to put him in cram school. Makes his living on the street scamming people with 'warlock magic' when it is just bardic illations. Group of knights sent by parents to track down prankster, leading them on a goose chase throughout a foreign nation.

Abandoned by an unknown mother at an inn in a quiet town, he was adopted by the innkeeper and his wife to be raised as their own, despite his obvious infernal lineage. Growing up in the inn, he was enamoured by the tales told by the travelling bards and adventurers, watching the various arcane users particularly closely and often mimicking their gestures and incantations until he discovered his own innate abilities. He continued to practise and hone his skills, even performing magic as entertainment for the inn's patrons, until such a time when he felt ready to leave his adoptive parents in order to seek out his own adventure.

I swam through the endless realm where stars go to die and gods fear to walk until I saw a speck of light and it called to me, that little crystal bead glittering in way that nothing should so far away. I forced my way in and found myself trapped in this stange form that resists my natural fluidity, oh how I yearn for a return to my formless void where i could be nothing,  anything and everything all at once. I am far from the realm I called home but I feel the madness of primordial magic that birthed this place and these creatures, perhaps I will stay and study them for a while,

*Initially I thought Changeling GOO warlock but then I thought Changeling/Far Traveller background/Circle of the Moon Druid instead to be a bit more of a primoridal magic user with a few more shapeshifting abilities to boot, after all how else do you play a native of the Far Realm trapped on the Material Plane?

Frost giants were the only family i ever knew, and the mountains my only home. Life was perfect. Then the adventures came.

I recall that leering visage that peered through the window before fading into the night as it carried my (insert loved one) over its shoulder, never to be seen again. I recall that sneering voice as it whispered to me as it left "See you soon son". At first I hid, then I fled, then as I became braver,  I tried to locate this creature of myth and legend, now I know its name and I will hunt this Oni till my last breath.

*A bit of a weird idea using Changeling + Haunted One Background + Marid Genie Warlock to be the offspring of an Oni who is bent on hunting down dear old dad. The Genie side of things needs a little tweaking to bring it in line with an Oni but otherwise its all good.

Edit: You also ideally need to find a way to get the ability to use a Glaive and Chainmail to fully mmiic an Oni.

Misha is a Shady Merchant Barovian Peasant who discovers he's a Narrative Performance Character (NPC) in a Westworld simulation like thing which has some how trapped Strahd and turned it into their newest adventure after Strahd throws a Drama Queen worthy hissy fit after killing some Adventurers and breaking Barovia away from the simulation headquarters. His previous story line involved him being the final boss - an Evil Necromancer Determined To Be More Than a God who is betrayed by his minion (now cousin) who lets the Adventurers in - and was very popular and which is why he's now a necromancer. He has a pony name Ludwig who feels like an emergency on Misha's part isn't an emergency on his part.

I was just minding my own business when out of nowhere this meteor crash lands next to me and knocks me into next week. When I finally woke up I had these… strange powers. No I get to be a super-flippin-hero and go on adventures!!

Rain reminds me of why I am out here looking for the entrance to this great barrow, hunting for some damn fool wizards lost staff, the chafing from the shackles still itching as it heals, so I can start a slog into the earth to find it and somehow survive traps and who the hell knows what else just so I can get out of this darn sentence.

A sentence I got for stealing a loaf of bread to feed a starving family, in the rain, on a moonless night.

The chute opened beneath her feet and she fell, seemingly for an eternity, until at last she heard the voice of the Man in Purple saying with a chuckle, "This is quite a predicament. What is it you really want again?"

"I told you, in my song," she said crossly. "I want the world."

"And I can give it to you, child," the Man in Purple replied, from somewhere in the dark. "All you have to do in return is bring me... ingredients."

Can someone please pick a random race, background, and class for me to write 3 sentences for, preferably a different person picking each, but I’m not too picky.

'"Muh name was Saint Nick and I died hundreds upon hundreds of years ago. But the power of... Imagination revived me as a fat old man that breaks into their houses and eats too many cookies. But at least I give them gifts, though the annoying kids that ask for too much get nothing but a bunch of delightful charcoal."

PS. Potato, the species of your character could be a Tortle or Tiefling.

Sorcerer, or maybe Warlock, or possibly even Druid if you went Circle of Stars with it.
