Hey, I was creating a new character concept and I was told there was a race or a few where if they believed in something hard enough it would happen or become true. Based on this description though I haven’t been able to figure out which race that is. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?? If you do could you site and give a little more description please and thank you!
I dont think theirs a race like this. D&D has genies as "monsters", they can grant wishes. And Genasi are related to genies, but even they dont get this ability. Wish is literally the best spell in the game.

BoringBard's long and tedious posts somehow manage to enrapture audiences. How? Because he used Charm Person, the #1 bard spell!
He/him pronouns. Call me Bard. PROUD NERD!

I think you're talking about kuo-toa. They're a species made almost entirely of deranged fish people, and they've got such strong psychic abilities that, when a community of them all share a belief, it will become part of reality.
They aren't an official playable race, unfortunately.

That's not exactly a playable race, though....
Paladin main who spends most of his D&D time worldbuilding or DMing, not Paladin-ing.
