I want to throw a Tarrasque at my party and its not going to be a straight up fight. I'm going to give a few options for my party to jank this fight and maybe a get out of jail free card that just BAMFS them out of there. What are some creative ways to get rid of a Tarrasque (I.E. planeshift it, teleport it, drown it etc). Now i'm not talking kill it, i'm talking STOP or just get RID of it? I will throw this at them around level 15-20.
The traditional solutions to a Tarrasque are Wish or Imprisonment. There aren't a whole lot of options that'll easily make it a non-issue without also killing it. Flesh to Stone can work, but it's unlikely with its massive CON. The lowest level option that can work is arguably Plane Shift, but between having to hit AC 25 and getting it to fail a CHA save on top of that (which requires exhausting its Legendary Resistance), it's still almost impossible to do. Assuming you don't already have 9th level spells, you'll get at most two tries before running out of spell slots.
