I really wish Zendikar had a world map. The geography changes some, but working out distances and continent shape position would have been great. Dominaria's planshift will hopefully be soon. I really want to take a dive in to it.

It should come out around the same time as the art book, so... *checks* early-to-mid July. Yeah, we've got a bit of a wait.
A spark is ignited by an extremely traumatic or near death event in the modern lore.
More or less. I think it specifically boils down to basically just "intense emotion", since Samut planeswalked for the first time just having felt an immense amount of pride and stuff after having defeated the Scorpion God and talking to Hazoret. So, I think it could be reasonable to have planeswalked in non-deadly and/or non-violent situations
I have a theory on the release of MTG Planeshift articles. What if all the planes detailed on the second-last page of Planeshift Amonkhet are the worlds WoTC plans to make Planeshift articles of? That list does have every plane with a planeshift article made for it already (excluding Ixalan).
So my theory is that after Planeshift Dominaria will come New Phryxeria, Ravnica, Shandalar, or Theros.

Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
Not sure if I'll happen in this order but the link in Dominaria of the Phyrexian to Mirrodin (New Phyrexia) could be a good lead in.
When reading that section I as well was hoping they will make sure to do a planeshift for each of the planes listed. It'll greatly help out with my current Multiverse campaign I have running with 6 walkers jumping from plane to plane including a handful of homebrews.
Thank you all for the awesome resources in this thread! I love the MTG universe and am definitely going to plan on incorporation these planes into my campaign. :)
I'm working on building a Kaladesh campaign. I realize that invention is democratic - anyone can do it if they take the requisite feats - but it does feel like Artificer is such a natural fit that it's a shame to leave it out. Are folks using the latest UA version or one of the homebrew versions others have created?
Map of Dominaria
Look at that map! The story article tugged those nostalgia strings hard.
Same. Ethan said on twitter that there will be a way to get a quality version of it and there's already playmats of it being printed.
A fantastic map of the world. Makes this one curious how it looked during the Ice Age. A map of Amonkhet would also be welcoming.

Quick question, can anyone recal the different methods planeswalker sparks "spark". Am work out in what conditions my players may have sparks ignite.

I think you wont see Ravnca done until the return to return to ravnica block they have told us is coming up in the storyline.
New Phyrexia they said was closed off so they may not approach it yet meaning they may do that one early.

WotC is releasing an art book for Dominaria: https://www.amazon.com/Art-Magic-Gathering-Dominaria/dp/1974700739
I don't expect to see the Planeshift pdf until late May at the earliest.

Richard Baker has built a pretty indepth artificer for Eberron: http://www.eberron5e.com/creating-a-character/classes/artificer
I mean considering it was hinted at we may see eberron later this year I don't think you will have long to wait for the official artificer release.
