I know this was years ago, but Im just wondering if anyone has any idea the Raven Queen patron UA was moved on? It was kinda iffy and needed work, but I thought the flavour was kinda cool. Just wondering.

It got turned into the Hexblade Patron. From the Hexblade write-up....
"You have made your pact with a mysterious entity from the Shadowfell – a force that manifests in sentient magic weapons carved from the stuff of shadow." ... "The shadowy force behind these weapons can offer power to warlocks who form pacts with it.
"Because the Raven Queen is known to have forged the first of these weapons, many sages speculate that she and the force are one and that the weapons, along with hexblade warlocks, are tools she uses to manipulate events on the Material Plane to her inscrutable ends."
As far as I know, the whole turning-into-raven thing is gone.

The Hexblade and the Raven Queen were both separate playtest subclasses in the same UA. The Hexblade survived, the Raven Queen didn’t. They just listed the Raven Queen as a potential patron for Hexblades and called it at that.
Yeah fair call. Thanks yall! I knew it was from years ago, I've been DMing a Raven Queen Warlock for a few years now. Was just wondering if there was a definitive reason why. But it's right to have been moved on, the player is lvl13 currently and it hasn't really peaked much (and **** that free raven familiar and their bonus to perception anyway haha) :)

There is a section on the Raven Queen in the Wildemount book, because she was so important to Liam's character in Campaign 1, but it's just a couple of paragraphs on her a deity in that world.
Yeah Raven Queen is one of my fav dieties too, I've always loved her story, even the creation of the Nagpas (can't wait to unleash one on my Warlock haha)

I liked the patron, but as others stated, it did not make its way to XGtE. IMO, this was probably due to the fact that it was such a restricting warlock subclass, none of the others are devoted to one being and only that being. I would like a way to play a cleric serving the Raven Queen, but that is unfortunately not yet possible, as the Celestial Warlock focuses on healing and fire/radiant damage (which does not fit the Raven Queen), the Hexblade serves a cursed/ghostly weapon or something like that, and none of the other subclasses really seem to fit her.

The upcoming Twilight Cleric maybe an option depending on their wording and/or changes from its UA iteration. But in the meantime, you don't think Grave Cleric fits?

There's already the Grave Cleric that fits being a cleric to her, but there isn't a warlock for it. I could see the Twilight Cleric working as well, but the Grave Cleric works better, IMO.

A player in one of the games I'm in came across the Raven Queen, and is playing her as a patron and the warlock UA that had come out. I really liked her, but felt that when she came out they had changed so much that everything felt displaced a bit and she just didn't take hold. That said, if you make the effort to put her in a setting she's really cool.
Raven Queen Patron was pretty good UA. I made it as a private homebrew as I still hope to play a game as one sometime.
I would for sure play it as a chain lock too as to get that multiple familiar process. Being able to shift into the Raven was cool as hell and you could follow your shapeshifted imp (who was also a raven) with your Flock of Familiar ravens to eerily watch someone as a flock.
That and the spell list (Spirtual weapon!) were pretty cool overall.

It was around three years ago in UA, and then they decided it wasn't worth it or something. If you want it, you can find the UA article here
