Hi there can someone tell me how to change my psyonic spells as an aberrant sorcerer? The subclass info says you can, but I can't seem to do it on dnd beyond
Hey. So I ran into the same problem. I checked some of the other threads. At the moment you can't change the spells on your sheet. Dnd beyond is aware of the problem. They are working on coming up with a solution for it. When that will happen is unknown. So the only way around it right now is to make a note about what spells you want to exchange for a new spell or customize the spell you want to switch out and change it in some way so that it works like the spell you want since it will still be listed under your spells tab.
Bumping this up because I'm running in to the same problem. A year out from the release of Tasha's and this still isn't fixed? Can someone from DNDBeyond give us any official comment on when to expect a fix to this issue?
I'd recommend the Bugs & Support forum if you want an official comment.
In the meantime, I've found it helpful to rename my replaced spells to something like TRADED FOR SLEEP using the customize option. Not a fix, but it helps me during play.
Thank you - I had found this thread through Google and didn't even notice what forum it was in. I have made a new thread in the appropriate forum :)
What you suggest is exactly what I did, and it's okay enough for now, but the really nice thing about DNDBeyond is having all that information embedded right there in the character sheet. It's literally why I spent nearly a thousand dollars to buy all the content on their platform specifically and why I maintain an annual subscription, so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that they build the actual functionality to do this natively without a scotch tape solution like that.
But I do also recognize that these things take time and coding isn't easy, so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. But again, it's been nearly a year and this is not a free service. I am a paying customer. I want to be reasonable, but when it's a paid service that comes with a certain expectation, too.

That's great to know that they're working on it. Thanks for letting me know
