I've been playing an Alchemist in my newest campaign and I was wondering if there were any official rules on making potions and adding potions I find into my repertoire. Any help or just some good homebrew suggestions would be appreciated.
Xanathar's Guide to Everything have rules around crafting items in general along with a table specific to potions of healing.
When you say "adding to your repertiore," if you mean can you add those potions to your possible Experimental Elixir results, no you can't do that. But that feature is frequently houseruled because it's quite weak due to a lack of qualitative scaling and the random factor. So maybe talk to your DM about how you can make that feature feel more useful.

There are no real hard rules regarding potion making.
What is really gets down to is having a recipe, the ingredients, and the time to do it. The ingredients cost half the price of a new potion.
Alchemist really could be a cash flow for a player. You could double your investment in 8 hours for a commo potion.
