I have been wanting to make a Gestalt character for quite some time, but because gestalt builds are homebrew in 5e, I have been having trouble making one. Any suggestions on how to do this?
Yes. Blood Hunter. Order of the Mutant is the Geralt analogue, but you will almost certainly feel more powerful as Order of the Lycan unless you have a DM who is willing to make some slight adjustments. I read that allowing preparation of reagents and 1 minute to mix into mutagens is a workable fix.
Gestalt doesn’t officially exist in this edition, and I doubt you could pull it off on dndbeyond. Maybe you could homebrew a subclass that gives you all the powers of the second class in addition to the first?
Now, if you were talking about geralt, I’d follow what Ericksoong said.

What. I was not even talking about the Blood Hunter. I was talking about a feature that existed in 3.5, that allows you to progress in 2 classes at once (not multiclass though, this allows you to reach lvl 20 in both classes)

I apologize. I thought it was just a typo. It happens more than you might think.
For a gestalt character you could Homebrew a subclass on DDB that gkives you most if not all of the features of another class, depending on which classes you want to combine and how you go about it. Honestly though, you would probably get super bored with it pretty quickly. A 20th level character is on par with a demigod in this edition. As a gestalt character there would be no real challenge, things would be so easy. Kinda like playing a video game on god mode with infinite everything, fun for about 5 minutes, but ultimately devoid of any real substance without the challenges to overcome.
For a Geralt character, I actually have a homebrew subclass and spells for that if anyone wants to use them.
