There is no mention of artificer with any of the books in the marketplace (as far as I can see), and no option to buy just the class itself (that I can see either). There is subclasses listed in the new ebberon book but no full class. Artificer has been removed as a class choice in character creation.
I'm looking to make one for a new game, which source book do I need to buy? Also, is there a way to buy just the class that I am missing? I don't care about the ebberon setting
Buying Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron gets you the base class and the alchemist subclass. Buying Rising from the Last War gets you the base class and all the subclasses. You can buy the subclasses individually from Rising from the Last War, and the base class is included with any subclass purchase.
I can’t find the subclass options either :// I’m destined not to play artificer
https://www.dndbeyond.com/marketplace/sourcebooks/tashas-cauldron-of-everything - the first thing you see if you scroll down past the book info is the additional purchase options, and the subclasses are the first of those. The Eberron book doesn't have those as individual purchases any more since Tasha's was released.
The Artificer subclasses are Alchemist, Armorer, Artillerist and Battle Smith.
They're under subclasses in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. Alchemist, Armorer, Artlierist and Battlesmith.

I see that this thread is from a while ago, but I can't find the additional purchasing options for Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. Where's the best place to just buy a subclass now? Or should I just buy the whole book?

A la carte purchases are gone, you need to buy the whole book to get it now. (I would get Tasha's rather than the Eberron book.)
Which contributes to the problem of not being able to see in detail what each book contains. "5 new subclasses!" (or whatever) doesn't help the consumer at all.

Let's throw down
Buying Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron gets you the base class and the alchemist subclass. Buying Rising from the Last War gets you the base class and all the subclasses. You can buy the subclasses individually from Rising from the Last War, and the base class is included with any subclass purchase.
Purchasing any of the three Artificer subclasses will grant you the Artificer class, as part of the purchase.
They can be found on the Eberron: Rising from the Last War marketplace page.

Thanks :)
Much cheaper than buying a whole book that I'm not overly interested in for a class that has some great potential

EBERRON Rising From The Last War
I don't see it in the individual purchasing options
The base class can't be purchased separately, you have to buy one or more subclasses. You'll get the base class along with the first subclass you buy.
Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].

That’s brilliant thank you!
me either. It gives race and subrace though, but not class and subclass

You can’t just buy subclasses anymore, you have to buy the whole book now.
