As DM, you can set up the Thrown range as you want. The following magic items have Thrown property (range 20/60 feet) Moonblade, Dwarvven Thrower, Hammer of Thunderbolts, Whelm for example.

According the equipment chart, the range for thrown things are set at 60 feet max.
