New to D&D Beyond. Unsure if this site will allow me to create and manage Characters under D&D 3.5. Im not sure what the differences may be with that edition vs. more recent ones. 3.5 is what my group and I are using right now. Will D&D be helpful for this edition?
Thanks JoeltheWalrus. I used to play way back in the days of Advanced D&D in the early 90s, and am just now getting back into it. Are there a lot of differences between 3.5 and 5? I like the idea of some of the features on this site, like the homebrew item creations, etc. Just not sure if it's too much hassle developing it based on 5th edition and introducing it to 3.5.
There are significant changes between 3.5 and 5th. Mainly how your attack / save bonus are calculated, the (mostly) removal of prestige classes, the reduction in feats, and less of a reliance on magic items.
I haven't played 3.5e, but I have heard the 3.5 is much more complex than 5e. Other than that, D&DBeyond is not legally allowed to support a previous edition. So unfortunately, 3.5 won't ever come to D&DBeyond.

D&DBeyond only works with 5th edition D&D.
