So I am trying to do a Warlock subclass based off of Greatwyrms, and I am taking some inspiration from The Genie as it has multiple options that grant different spells. Here is the table I made:
The column that is titled Greatwyrm Spells is granted no matter the type of dragon that the patron is. I currently have two class features, the first is choosing the type of dragon, the second is the "Expanded Spell List". When I set up this feature, I made it a granted feature with options that requires level 1. I then added the "Greatwyrm Spells" in the additional spell list tab on this feature. I then made one of the options "Chromatic Greatwyrm" which the player/DM would choose if their patron was a Chromatic. I then added the spells as individual additions to the OPTION. I made sure each spell used CHA, used a spell slot, was not known(if i turn it to yes it automatically prepares it), and is not always prepared. I also made sure that the spells were available at the correct levels. (1,3,5,7,9) When I go into the character builder, it CURRENTLY shows Absorb Elements three times. 2 of the 3 Absorb Elements say it's from my expanded spell list feature, but it doesn't show Chromatic Orb from the "Chromatic Spells" list. I think the third Absorb Elements is because I did add the Greatwyrm spells in the "Additional Specific Spells" on the Basic Information tab. I don't know how to fix this AT ALL, and I tried going through the FAQs, if you can help me that would be awesome.
The way that Warlocks’ subclass specific spells work is that they are added to the list of spells that the Warlock can learn, they are not automatically granted to the Warlock. In order to do that those spells are simply added to the “Additional Specific Spells” field under Basic Information. The way the Genie warlock is set up, they didn’t actually attach those genie specific spells to Options at all, they simply entered all of the spells under that field and leave it to the player to only learn the spells associated with their specific patron. If you want to have your subclass work the same way the Genie works, delete all of your Options and simply add all of those spells in the aforementioned field under Basic Information for the whole subclass and it’ll work the way it is supposed to.
Please post a link to your character sheet so someone can look into it for you. It’s not the best solution, but it is the best we can do not being moderators.
Won't you need to share your homebrew Greatwyrm subclass for people to investigate? It might have duplicate entries for the two things you're seeing duplicated on your sheet.
The only thing I see appearing multiple times is your Divine Convergance, those aren’t “features” in and of themselves, they are feature Options. You must have set them up incorrectly. There is a full walkthrough on how to set up Options in the Homebrew Subclasses & Species FAQ #1: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq). If you want the limited uses to only appear once then I suggest you set those up for an Action attached to the base class feature instead of attaching them to each individual Option. If that doesn’t solve your problem, post again and I’ll do my best to help.
Now sharing your subclass is no help whatsoever and now that you’ve done it you can no longer edit it without creating a new version which will leave ghosts of it in your character builder. Luckily sharing your homebrew is a violation of the site rules since it is not your original work, so the mods are obliged to take it down for you. I explained what your problem is in the other thread in which you asked, next time try a little patience.
so would I have to grant each “type” of patron the same abilities then for it work properly? for example, a warlock w a Gem Greatwyrm has different abilities for added to their draconic convergence than a warlock w a Metallic Greatwyrm.
I think the issue they are referring to are some of the abilities I made are pretty similar to the greatwyrm statblock, i’ll probably need to rename some stuff

Thank you! This helped! Can I link a character sheet to see why its giving me 5 of each feature on the sheet?
That won’t help. Try re-saving the entire subclass and waiting 20 minutes, see if that helps.

I was recommended to do this by IamSposta, could y’all take a look and see if you can figure out why 6=30?
The features are the Psychic Step and the Draconic Convergence. I think it will do this for the other types (Metallic and Chromatic)

I removed it as it is unfinished, however it seems original enough to stay up once it is finished. Unless I'm missing something.
